Great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was clean and up to date. The location is amazing. We didn’t have to drive anywhere as everything was within walking distance.

Lots of stairs as we were on the top floor.

Beautifully renovated hotel with no in person staff and ridiculously high add on fees that nearly doubled the low price

Nicely renovated. Large studio room. Nice bathroom. Cool modern decor. Microwave and full size fridge. Comfy couches inside and on the balcony. Pleasant and helpful 24 hour phone staff.

No in person staff which felt weird. No breakfast included. Did not appreciate the $50 cleaning fee (per night!) which we have never seen before and nearly made us cancel our reservation. The worst thing was the uncomfortable absolutely freezing room temperature with a thermostat that was much too complicated and we were unable to change until very late evening by accident. We still don’t know how we finally did it. No extra blankets and no where to ask for them. No tissue box which was a first for me. Tiny closet with only 2 hangers. Some problems using the digital key but the keys in the lockbox and the helpful phone person saved us.

Super cool spacious room, perfect for a couple or a girls' weekend.

I loved the decor and the openness of the room. Location was fantastic and walking distance to all the great spots to eat.

We did not have the linens for the pull out as requested but we brought some just in case. There could have been an extra blanket too for the primary bed. We may have missed the deadline to request sheets though so that could have been on us.

Hotel Folly was the perfect stay for our getaway! It was super cozy!!

I looooved that it was so clean and quaint. More than enough space for two adults, but not so big that we lost each other. It’s closeness to the beach allowed us to walk, and enjoy the sights!

Everything. The staff managing the property answers requests very quickly and is accommodating.

not many windows in the room. the sunset view is from the outside. although there is a sitting area right outside the door. this is definitely not a deal breaker.

Everything was very nice. The only issue was that we were not able to get in with our door code. Had to contact proprieter to get a code for the lock box at the property.

Perfect stay in Folly Beach

This was definitely one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in! The room was designed so freaking cute. Super clean and spacious, large walk in shower, and nice appliances. I love that each room has its own parking spot too. And the staff were always incredibly fast at responding to my messages, even on Christmas Day! Thanks guys! Highly recommend 10/10

The only thing that I didn't like was that when I arrived, the mini split was set to air conditioning and not heat. And it was below freezing outside and took me quite awhile to figure out how to change the setting to heat. No biggie though, eventually I figured it out and I'm sure the owners would've helped me quickly with my issue if I had called.

Loved it!!

The room was so nicely renovated and quality workmanship! Loved all the old rock artist wall decor! VERY CLEAN!!! Love the close proximity to Folly and the beach…nice to park the car and walk! Will definitely book this again for future visits!

Don't waste your money

3rd floor and a lot of climbing. View of the neighbors back yard. Too pricey and view is of a parking lot and the river

I absolutely love staying here! The property is beautiful and I highly recommend!! I will definitely be coming back!

The views were amazing!! I loved the balcony view that I had! Great location! the property is beautiful!!! I loved my room so much! I was there for work! Really wish I could have spent more time in my lovely room!!!

Just a little tough if you have groceries and bigger bags going up and down the stairs.

Cool room, super spacious, with a sweet balcony. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Folly. Staff is super responsive and helpful. Had everything I needed before checking in.

Superb

The decor was just my old soul rock n roll style. Loved the room. Very clean. Pretty good location not to be beachfront. Shower was perfect. Nice breezy bathroom with the fan on. Was traveling alone. Felt reasonably safe. Stayed in Room 3.

Ice maker made about 4 cubes and quit. Didn't have a sunset view from Room 3. Would love to have checked in a little earlier.

Great stay! Better informed contacts and communication would have made it excellent.

New, clean and contemporary.

Miss information regarding type of coffee pot to prepare for. Was told a regular pot not a single serve. The room had a single serve pot with no regular pods in the room. Emailed and called and was told that they would bring regular pods and leave them which never happened. Texted again with no reply to the text. Never heard from anyone again. Ended up going and getting what we needed.

Unexpected

I loved the location. It had restaurants, shops and bars just steps away. The beach is easily walkable. The room was comfortable.

The sunset views that were so hyped up was obscured by a building and trees. Not what I expected. The location was much better and what I would focus on.

Great getaway location!

Cute hotel, loved the renovations. Good location, water view and close walk to the beach. Good communications prior to check in.

The bed hurt our backs, especially the first night. wish there was a second parking space for our second car, especially since there were a lot of unused spots when we were there.

My suite was PERFECT, it was roomy with a great sized deck! The decor was unique and absolutely beautiful. I will be making return visits.

The space to park your car was a little tight but manageable.

Great stay for a one night stop to explore Folly Beach!

The renovated room was very well setup and nicely updated.

The parking area was very small so if you have a truck parking can be extremely difficult.
