Breakfast was very well prepared and served. It is not an open buffet. Was high quality food and service. Facility has a nice gym called CaveGym. Nice old money case of ex-Bank of Scotland. Staff was also very kind. The front desk team was very nice and helpfull. They helped in every possible need. Congartulation to the team and management. Was worth every peny. No need to search any other alternative. Location was just perfect. We will definitely visit again.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms are fully equipped and thoughtfully designed.

I had a tidy, compact apartment with a fully equipped kitchen in a super convenient location. Waverly is a block away and the tram is right outside the door. The apartment’s inclusion of a clothes washer/dryer was especially appreciated. Super comfy bed, great shower, nice toiletries. The staff was exceptional. They were friendly and went out of their way to meet my needs.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The Edinburgh Chaval Team are The Best !!

As always, the staff on reception are the friendliest, most helpful and professional team. In particular Paul and Micheal made arrangements prior to and during our stay which just enhanced an already fantastic trip. The lady on reception (sorry, I forgot your name) also showed caring and wonderful customer service. Our room this time was well appointed, roomy and had everything you would need - in comparison to other apartments we have been in I found the living room slightly dark, however , as we were there during a particularly hot weekend this may have actually been a good thing!

My only suggestion would be an additional bin/trash bag - as the bin under the sink doesn't hold that much. Although housekeeping do a wonderful job every day. 👏

Convenient location

The location is just across the train station. There are super market, shop and restaurant near by. However the attraction in on another side across the train station but not far to walk only take like 10-15 min walk. So very convenient

It was an amazing apartment. It's very compact and just perfect. The location was very good. Our check-in was extremely fast. The staff were always pleasant.

Immaculate room. Everything spotless. Cosy lighting was really inviting however- It needs additional lighting for working as it was a little dark for a work teams call in the evening. (an easy fix). I used the gym as well which was high spec and also super clean. Staff extremely accommodating to my request to check in early. Cannot fault anything at all just a wonderfully comfortable stay.

just one desk lamp for work purposes would have been fab

great location and hotel but there were some misunderstandings with the hotel receptionists

Location is great. Room ordered has no advertised features (dinner table with chairs but it was shown on 3D video of the room in the hotel webpage)

When I claimed that there is no advertised items in the suggested room which should be there as it was shown in 3D video of that kind of room, the manager answered that she could provide me a room with these features but for an additional charge for these features at 50 pounds over the price for the kind of room we booked. When we were given a different room instead of initially offerred at reception, this room happenned to be a special one for for disable person(s) with corresponding low wash sink, toulet, etc. And nobody had warned us that this room is for disable persons. So, we found out that later when I pulled the wire at the bed thinking that it is a switch for a bed light but instead the alarm came in in force in our room and somewhere else as a manager came in to our room in 5 minutes (in the middle of the night) asking is everything ok, etc.

we were in a one bedroom apartment. the bedroom was very small. The oven had not been cleaned.
