Good value and location.

Nice accommodation and well priced. Good location. Staff were outstanding and had our room ready by 1pm.

There was no view from our room.

One of the best I’ve stayed at

So clean, very spacious room. Bed was amazing, so comfortable. Very central. Definitely recommend.

Whatever. I’m from Melbourne. I booked there to avoid trying to get back to the suburbs late at night. Meh

Good location, nice brekkie. Good room. Wouldn’t call it excellent.

Nice room but why WHY are the curtains always difficult to draw? Curtains are always important for privacy. They were off their hinge rails or whatever you call it. Also, I had to ask for shower cap. Only one tiny little tube of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Always a pleasure

It always adds a little bit of class to stay at the Stamford Plaza. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Water pressure was fantastic. Close proximity to virtually everything. The robes and slippers are a nice touch for the end of day wind down and the room service is high quality and timely to arrive.

The property is very nice but is in need of a bit of love when it comes to the finer details. Bathrooms are a bit dated, with the door frame swollen and needing attention. Fixtures and fittings are a bit worn. And pillows in the room were terrible. If you look too closely, you start to see how tired some of the features are.

Great location

Went to Harry’s bar the first night. Was not acknowledged and staff were on their phone. Also room was not cleaned had to ask for room to be serviced

Too long to check in. Only 1 person behind the counter and 5 or 6 people waiting. Took me 30 min to check in

Great, central base to explore Melbourne.

Very centrally located, comfortable room, choice of pillows.

Room was a little small, but as I was on my own it didn’t matter.

We had some problems checking in and the Manager was exceptionally good at resolving a difficult situation. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable and the location was great

the location was good. facilities were nice. spa area was nice. rooms seem outdated

the roadworks that went all night right outside the hotel in our last night were unbearable and we nearly slept. it was so disappointing when we weren’t advised and we’re so tired when having to get a long flight home the next day. didn’t get the room with a spa bath as requested for my husbands back issues, but room was very nice and spacious

Great location and facilities.

It felt like they were short staffed, room service meals were not up to par with their rating. The place felt 'old and tired' but still nice, nothing to get excited about though.

This hotel didn't get my deposit back, so watch out. I contacted them over the phone, emailed them and followed up with another email. No one ever got back to me. I'm thinking of taking them to consumer affair

Didn't match expectations.

Location.

Bed - The bed was on a lean? I could actually roll down towards my partner. Not sure if the springs were broken or it was just incredibly lumpy. Not something you want from a 4 star hotel! Bath - The "spa" bath was just a shower/bath combo with old decaying jets. Not appealing at all. Check In - I called a few hours ahead of my flight to say my partner was going to be checking in before me as I am the name on the booking. Reception put me through to the front desk which went to voicemail. I left a detailed message saying to call me back if there were any issues and didn't hear anything. When my partner arrived they said he couldn't check in so he had to wait an hour and a half before I was off my flight to call me to get permission for him to check in. Not as advertised - the pictures online are much nicer than the room is in reality. The gold furnishings were old and worn, the shower/bath had a stain in it and there was not dishwasher as advertised (just an empty spot).

In need of refurb. Gold fittings were worn through to stainless steel underneath. 5 star but no coffee machine in kitchenette. dining room had the feeling of a mine-site canteen

My son went to his first concert at Rod Laver, so your hotel was the perfect location.

We couldnt find anything to complain about. We will be booking another room for the next concert booked in june.
