Less hotel more motel

Very clean. Large room

That you didn't know from the website that they rooms were old motel style units rather than motel rooms.... Quite noisy.

Superb

I initially had selected the wrong date for my booking. However, the duty manager, Stephanie (I think that was her name) was understanding and quickly resolved my issue. Many thanks to Stephanie for all her help.

Wonderful

Rooms were beautifully presented and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was appreciated. Parking was great as it was outside the room and this was secure for my motorcycle and easy to offload my panias.

Taxi situation was annoying but that is not your issue/problem.

The staff were super lovely and the room was great. Loved having my car outside too and so close to everything.

I didn't dislike anything everything was amazing.

The heated pool

The standards have been slipping each time we stay. There were no swimming towels, the spa wasn’t heating, the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. There wasn’t enough food at breakfast and every time more food came out you had to rush to get some before it was gone again in about 3 minutes. It was all a bit disappointing.

Well done Copthorne!!

Had the executive suite...spacious, tastefully decorated...spacious!...immaculately clean. A TV in bedroom and another in lounge was very helpful. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and double basins separate shower and was crisp white and clean...with double access from lounge and bathroom. Best room I've ever had in Masterton. Well done Copthorne!!

Room service took awhile. But was great when it did arrive! Parking was a little problematic but only because it was full to capacity with lots on in Masterton that weekend. A microwave in room would've been good.

Poor breakfast

Poor breakfast, supposedly due to staff shortage only 'continental breakfast' available. Was still charged 75 dollars for 4 adults and 2 kids and they ran out of pretty much everything already at about 8am. No salami or toasts and we had to pay extra for every coffee. Very disappointing for a hotel.

Why don't you have a microwave in the rooms this would be more beneficial. This is the only place I know that doesn't have a microwave. .

Overall we all enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one time when it is not raining!

Easy to get around (especially nice was the all internal corridors to get to everywhere as it was RAINING!). Nice and clean and everything as expected. Having our room open out facing the pool and kids playground was really handy (would love to come back when it's sunny so we can actually use this!) and the indoor pool and spa was a good consolation

The "games" room was pretty average and didn't really have any actual games. Seemed pretty sad and neglected. Having a online compendium to "save paper" was really annoying and the app was not easy to use which made doing something simple like looking at the restaurant menu much harder than it needed to be.

very quiet comfortable beds great shower really nice reception staff

In the restaurant young girl serving us was more interested in what was going on outside couldn’t order off the all day menu unless I went into the bar so had a fish meal fish was dry and coleslaw not edible had to ask for a drink twice as again the girl serving us was to busy outside talking and had to ask for a spoon so my partner could eat his soup outside our room where someone had been smoking hadn’t been cleaned up and curtains leading to outside were dirty

lovely and spacious the indoor pool was fabulous and we soent most of our time there.

Fabulous venue and value for money.

The squash court was a hit for the kids. We are a sports family and this venue provided an opportunity to try a new sport. the kids loved it and now want to play.

The wi-fi & phone was down and we didn’t know why.
