We loved our stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. The staff were very friendly We had a lovely room too

Very comfortable place

It was our wedding anniversary, my husband happened to mention it to the concierge, we were surprised with a beautiful bottle of bubbles and a delicious platter of sweet treats and bottled water. Pretty fabulous.

Good location...

We booked for room with breakfast and when we checked in, receptionist said breakfast is not included. When we reconfirmed, breakfast for two adults is included and child need to pay although we book for 3 person.

Absolutely everything

The concierge at the front entrance made us feel totally uncomfortable and could not give any directions or information that we asked. He made it stressful then it needed to be in the end.

Staff were so courteous and friendly. The room was beautiful.

Facilities, staff, cleanliness, breakfast all up to a good standard.

room service food from the night menu was garbage. Club sandwich was tomato slice, lettuce leaf, dry chicken, slice of bacon in toast and huge load of rancid fish tasting fries with nothing. No condiments like ketchup or mayo or anything, just bad tasting fries with salt and pepper. Egg sandwich same thing, chopped egg in between toast and the same load of fishy fries with nothing.

Beds super comfortable.

Pool not available but understand refurbishing being in place

The location was excellent for my needs very central . I had asked for a ‘no feathers’ bed and that was no hassle.

I thought the breakfast selection was not great and when I asked for tea was told there was a long wait.

room was modern and well furnished, great shower and bathroom, grreat desk

Carpet on the 4th floor was shabby stained and bleached in parts

bed was comfortable staff were wonderful and very friendly, made us feel special

Great location. Excellent staff in every area of the hotel’s operation. New room upgrades are top notch. Always a thriving hub in Wellington. They also know how to mix a damn good drink!
