Charged twice for same booking, wont refund

Please be very very careful when booking this property These guys charged me twice for the same booking, approx 2600 gbp (double payment for the same room) over 6000 ILS Despite multiple emails to them over the previous 6 weeks they have declined to refund the over charge and actually kept the money This actually constitutes fraud and i have booking.com involved (so far they havent refunded either) Please avoid!!!

Charged twice no (no refund) instead voucher offered!!

Très bien pour visiter la vielle ville à pieds

Coup de coeur de notre voyage. Très très propre. Pas loin de la vielle ville ( à 5 min de Herods Gate et 15 min de la mosquée Aqsa, mur des lamentations...). Quartier très safe à Jérusalem-Est. Et excellent petit déjeuner. + café très branché en bas de l'hôtel.

I would never come back to this hotel. I do not recommend it to anyone. It is not worth the money.

Breakfast was acceptable.

Dirty, smelly and old room., Moldy carpet. Dresser is brocken. Door key did not work. Parking was horrible. After stating that parking was free, they tried to collect parking fee form us in the parking lot. Once we refused to pay they started throwing rocks at the car causing several dents and scratches. Unfriendly staff. Power went out for some time. Bad location.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

There wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. And breakfast was OK but could have done with toaster and fresh orange/apple juice.

Turned a once-in-a-life-time-trip into a frustrating bureaucratic nightmare.

Nothing. Crappy, overpriced hotel with absolute incapable and rude staff!

Two months before our stay, we changed our booking by removing one night from our stay. They somehow managed to charge our creditcard for that extra night nonetheless. We have stayed at the hotel and tried everything to get a refund for that night (350 euros). You'd think they will manage that. But here we are, nearly THEE MONTHS after our stay, still mailing back and forth about our refund which still DID NOT HAPPEN. Please don't stay at this hotel. For a five star hotel, they don't even have a kettle in the room. The cleaning staff is incapable and begs for tips. It's a shame!!!

Highly recommend this hotel as it was one of my favorite places we stayed on our three week holiday!

Location was great. The hotel was meticulously clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The service in the restaurant was top notch. I really can't say enough good thing about this hotel. Between two different reservations I made, we stayed five nights I think. I wanted to stay another couple of nights but they were fully booked. We hated to leave, but ended up at place around the corner that was NO WHERE near as nice as our stay at the National Hotel Jerusalem!

I can't really think of anything that I didn't like. Oh, except there were no washcloths in the bathroom but I understand that is strictly an American thing, and I should have brought my own! haha

Overall, we had a great 3 nights at this hotel. Highly recommended especially to those who wants to focus your itinerary

Great location! It is very close to the Old City (Herods or Damascus gates are best options but you may opt to check out the New Gate as well). Breakfast comes when we booked and it offers various delicious dishes. Hotel staffs are very pleasant and accommodating.

We were not informed that there is a wake up call at around 4am so this is a bit annoying especially if you have trouble returning to sleep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the National Jerusalem Hotel and it was truly remarkable. The hotel's convenient location allowed for a short 10-minute walk to El Aqsa Mosque. The friendly staff provided excellent service, making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We like the breakfast,dinner, friendliness of the staff.We felt secured. Location is strategic

Your people/staff were very kind and helpful in general. We appreciate more your lady at the front desk. She was very helpful to us everytime we need rides/taxi, most especially during the time when we asked for a transportation back to the airport. The male staff that we first asked 2 days before our flight schedule for a transportation ride back to the airport didn't materialize. We were held up for many hours waiting for the driver to arrive at the hotel. We were so glad that the lady helped us to get us a transportation to bring us to the airport on time.

Your aircon didn't work the first night. When it was fixed, we had the comfort of coldness in the room, however, the following days, water started to drip frombtge aircon/ceiling area.

Great hotel with nice staff

The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was great and there were plenty of different choices everyday. We liked the location as we don’t mind a bit of walk. You can get to the old touristy area in 15min on foot. It’s on the Arab side of Jerusalem so you won’t see any Jewish people.

the curtains are not blackout. You get all the light inside if you are sensitive to that. Especially the bathroom needs a serious renovation. It was falling apart.

Fantastic

I loved everything about this hotel. The history of the hotel itself is so interesting, the rooms were spotlessly clean and each and every member of staff Are amazing. The Staff go above and beyond.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact I had to Leave.

Great stay at national hotel jerusalem

Location and the buffet breakfast was excellent vast choice of variety for all breakfast tastes. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday.excellent stay makes the holiday all the better.

Nothing...it was all good. Couldn't fault the hotel on anything.

Disappointing

The main pros to this hotel was it's location. It was nicely located near to the masjid-ul-aqsa. Also the structural design of the hotel was very good. In addition, our discomfort was largely mitigated due to Ms. Hayat's wonderful behaviour. She tried to make our stay comfortable and always helped us with room service. She has a beautiful professional attitude with a smiling face. I am very great full to Ms. Hayat with my gratitude and wish her success in life. We also very much pleased with room service.

Our main concern to this hotel was cleanliness. All the beddings was over used and shabby. Especially the pillows was so old and discomfy, as I didn't have a good sleep. Also the linen and towels were teared and yellowish. Moreover, the toilet lid was broken. The curtains were not moving properly. Overall our stay was not satisfying. It's very poorly maintained 2 star standard hotel. I wonder how can they advertise this hotel as 4 star.

Rubbish service staff not very helpful

Nothing. Didn't like any thing. Rubbish service. Staff was not very helpful.

I made the booking and payment on my name. I asked the invoice and they kept putting me off, finlay after 3 request I received the invoice. I left the hotel afew hours earlier than two of my customers. They went to the counter and asked for the invoice. The hotel staff gave them a copy. With out even asking for ID nor did they say the invoice has already been given to the person who made the booking. That has caused lots of problems between us. I'm very very disappointed.
