Room too dark. Didn’t feel secure. Doors locks didn’t feel secured. Room to the exterior of the building. Stairs to the bedrooms are too steep and dangerous.

Location. The Pietermaai district is a vibrant place and the hotel is conveniently located if you are looking for a bit of night life and want to know more about the history of Willemstad. Lots of nice restaurants around with live music. So if you are looking for quiet, this may not be your place . Friendly staff. One of the pools is like a tropical oasis. If you want to go to the beach, Avila beach hotel is a 10 minute walk but you would need to pay $35 to rent their chairs, umbrella and towel.

The room I got was completely different from the one in the pictures shown ( booked deluxe). So when I arrived I was not happy at all. The room was dark and had a weird smell. I couldn’t open the window shutters because it was in the hallway and so other clients would see us and we wouldn’t have privacy. Fortunately, the staff was really nice and let me saw a couple of rooms to choose from. I originally requested a very close access to the pool for my daughter. So you have to know that for some of these rooms, you will have to make a detour and walk out on the street to access the pool. I was eventually happy with the room I took. The only issue I could add was that the mattress was not a king size but two double twins next to each other so I could feel the gap at and the mattress was very firm and I could feel the coil spring. I guess I’m very much used to foam.

The location for this boutique style hotel is good. The pools are cute. there are restaurants on walking distance and life entertainment nearby

The room was very noisy, like the life music was in the room :( not great for a business stay, good for nightlife seekers. The bathroom is located upstairs, with no doors nor privacy. You can stink up the whole room :P

The two-level room was good; housekeeping was good; reception was excellent.

the bed was thin and hard.
