Perfect overnight stay to catch early bus to Te Anau

Convenient to catch bus to Te Anau

Noise of people walking past middle of might from town as it’s so close to the footpath. Better soundproofing would fix this. Ear plugs were provided which were most appreciated.

Awful

Easy walk into the centre.A very helpful girl in reception.

Very noisy as there are no carpets and thin walls. You could hear the people above going to the toilet. View was terrible, more like being in prison and people could see inside when walking past. Bed was under the window so difficult to see it up in bed. No breakfast available and no toaster or microwave in room.

Fantastic location, warm and comfortable: we will be back again!

The location was fantastic. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was really large, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable and warm. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great value for money.

good location for Queenstown

location is awesome, within walking distance to town and botanical gardens room was big, clean

the only light in the room was the overhead- no side table lamps available. explained that next week that would install wall lamps but not sure why they took away the other lamps. bed was comfortable but mattress did sag

lovely lodge, great for a short stay

Lovely lodge, with unexpectedly good facilities - heated floors in the bathroom, good ground coffee and fresh milk were not expected and lovely surprises. The location was perfect and the room was cleaned to perfection.

A little expensive but I think that’s just Queenstown prices for you.

Great location. Close to downtown (5 min walk) but quiet. Beautiful city park and gardens across the street. Free parking in small garage.

Quiet, clean and comfortable room close to the city but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep.

Central location, comfy bed. nice thick towels and an extra towel for when I washed my hair. very large room.

Perfect location and very clean

Coronation Lodge was perfect for our pre and post hiking stays. It was extremely clean, well located, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here. It is no frills but excellent value for money.

Well appointed, roomy apartment super close to town.

It was great being out of the way from the main chaos + this meant free parking which is a nightmare at some other more expensive hotels in the main area.

It would be great if there were more than one washer & dryer - one of the guests was very antsy with us using the laundry and it tainted our stay a little.

So convenient to walk into town centre. I did some washing and clothes line available on the property.

The bathroom got very wet from the open shower.

Convenient location with a good sized room and comfy bed, for our one night stay.

Good sized room for the one night. Comfy bed. Tidy bathroom. Nice coffee plunger, and a decent sized milk for our drinks.

The water from the shower splashed right throughout the bathroom. There was a mat to use in the shower but the rest of the tiles were very slippery.

Exceptional

The one bedroom apartment is one of the best accommodations we’ve used in Queenstown in many, many visits. It costs more than their standard hotel rooms but it’s well worth it for an extended visit. The apartment is huge, has full kitchen, laundry, two balconies, 2 toilets and aircon which is a must for hot summer days. Walking distance to everything and close to local buses for trips around the wider local area. If available, we would choose this apartment for our next visit.

Being so close to town there is some street noise but complementary earplugs are in the room so problem solved.

Good location, cosy room, nice staff, under cover parking. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Queenstown.

Shame the breakfast room is locked between 5.30pm and 8am. It would be great to be able to use the facilities to cater your own meals.

Excellent centrally located hotel

The hotel is located close to the downtown area - a walk of just five to ten minutes to the lake and to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showers. There is a laundry room charging just one NZ dollar for the washing machine and dryer. We were allowed to store our suitcases until check-in. When we did check-in, our bags had already been moved to our room.

We had no problems or concerns.
