Stayed at Coffee Today, Nice staff, very friendly & helpful, perfect location & fantastic price. Staying Riverside for approx $10 a night how could anyone complain!

The location was good

It’s nothing like the pictures. The hostel is not that bad in itself - still a expensive for what you get, for the same price per night there are other hostels with a pool or better facilities - but do not look at the pictures if you wanna have an idea of how it is. We are still looking for the « terrace » area, and the coffee is not part of the hotel. It is very simple and not charming at all. I wouldn’t recommend to go there.

Very poor

Even though the location is in the heart of riverside I thought the guesthouse was filthy. The cleaning lady (who was eventually dismissed) laid on her backside all day on the second floor looking at herself in her phone. The staff could not have been more rude and unpleasant. Not a hello or a smile. I didn't ask for much in my 5 weeks there but I felt I was bothering them when my toilet stopped working or asked for new towels. You'd be better off finding a different guesthouse than this one. I won't stay there again.

Disappointing property but with a good location.

The location was good as you are 5 minutes from the Royal Palace and waterfront. There are nice places to eat in the area.

It was like we had a room that was yet to be finished. The walls need a touch up, the lights flickered when you turned on the shower, the taps weren’t 100% secured into their fixtures and there was an awful smell coming from the toilet. The balcony had pigeons nesting in the plant pot. We had 2 removed when we first arrived thinking they were dying!! It made having a balcony completely pointless as we couldn’t go outside unless we wanted birds landing on us! The smell in the toilet may be related to the vent that lead to the balcony. There were ants/small bugs all around the sink area and some were on one of the walls. We would not stay here again.

Better value elsewhere

Close to many attractions.

Very run down hotel, half the power points didn't work, the light switch was broken and kept on by a pebble pushed into the switch. Much better value around the corner.

Enjoyable location and friendly staff.

The location is excellent for attractions, restaurants and nightlife. You can walk to many significant attractions but there are also Tuk Tuk everywhere.

It's a low cost hotel, that exceeds its price in value for money. If you want fancy then there are other options nearby.

Ok for the price but not more.

Location is very good and very central.

We travelled as a group of 27 persons with both rooms hosting 2 and 4 persons. Some of the rooms were not very clean and had unpleasant smells. The street is quite noisy but I guess that's the price for the very central location. Breakfast service was really slow and there was a lot of confusion about what people had ordered and some options ("French Breakfast": two croissants on a plate) ran out every morning. Overall, I think this is an ok place to stay, if you are not in a hurry and looking for a cheap but ok option.

Good location for a budget stopover

Great location and nice view. Promotion price was good value

The place is a bit tired and needs some maintenance..... The street vendeurs quietened after midnight but the dogs start at 4am......

Don't book.

The location is fab. Staff assisted with booking the genocide museum and killing fields. Working AC.

The rooms are extremely misleading. Very dirty on the walls and plug sockets. Towel very old and questionable so didn't use. The ceiling light was hanging off and when I alerted staff they weren't interested. It was quite a dark room. The bed was very uncomfortable - thin mattress that you could feel the springs. They had a list of rules which were all reasonable but the cost of breaking one of the rules -, IE food on the bed seemed extreme considering the state of the place. I would not recommend staying here.

Zero to like.

Checked in and had to get into my backpack when checking in to get cash. They were no towels in my, so on my way out to eat and a massage, after traveling all day, came back to still no towels. They did send someone up with towels.The next morning when I opened my notebook were my cash was I found the envelope that had contained a$100 U.S. dollar bill and 2 thousand 200 Thai baht gone. Nothing else was touched. Only someone or someone's on the staff could have gained entry and new just where to look.

Cheap and perfect location

All beds were so clean.

The impression of the room was quite different. On the photo we can see some trees but actually not.

our door lock was broken - they didn’t swap our rooms so one night our room was left open and another night we couldn’t get in after coming home. stressful and not ideal.

Cheap & comfortable stay right in the heart of Phnom Penh

The room was in the top floor with good views. The bed was comfortable. The toilet and bathroom were large. Couldn't have asked more. The staff were friendly though not very professional. The location is exceptional

Guesthouse basics.

Familiar with the location.

Place is getting rundown and little maintenance done. Mattress needs to be replaced as it is sinking one side. Shower was impossible as the toilet bowl was in the way!

Nice place to stay for a couple of days.

The property is good value for money. Nice location. Friendly staff.

Somewhere to hang clothes other than bathroom. TV picture quality very poor. Bathroom light not bright enough. Shower was turned on and off by shower head which was leaking.

A terrible experience never wish to repeat.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. No facilities, smell of urine on the staircase. Photos online of the RS II were actually of another hotel. We paid for a room with a balcony but the 'balcony' was actually a common access corridoor outside all the rooms on the 2nd floor. The TV was almost impossible to view and the few channels barely visible. We moved out as quickly as we could. Dreadful.
