Fantastic

I like how spacious the villa where we can gather especially for bigger family, a good Space for game night . The utensils were clean and well maintained. Location was good closer to preferred destinations. The place was more clean compare last 2022 when we use the facility.

Alles vorhanden was man braucht, aber Frühstück dazubuchen lohnt sich nicht

Die Ausstattung war sehr gut und es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Lage etwas außerhalb und sehr ruhig

Ich hatte Frühstück dazugebucht, das hat sich nicht gelohnt. Ich bekam einen Korb mit Butter, Marmelade, Milch, Saft, Müsli und Apfel. Das war nicht das was ich unter einem Frühstück verstehe. Also besser selbst was einkaufen und die Kochnische nützen.

Very good

Great beds, great TV, great bathroom.

No pots or cooking top, thought we had booked that. Also the hot water in shower ran out very quick.

Disappointing and I expected an apology and partial refund for the lack of hot water

I emailed the following on 29/5, no reply. Sorry to report but feel a bit let down by our overnight stay. I booked a unit specifically with 2 bedrooms, 2 double beds for the reason that my two year old granddaughter sleeps in bed with either her mum or myself and this booking gave us the option to do that. However the second room had twin beds, so this was not possible. She had a wakeful night and I couldn’t help out by swapping her into my single bed. We wondered why there was no hot water to do the dishes in the evening but did not notice the hot water switch until we were leaving in the morning. Whoever was in unit before us had switched this off so we could not have showers, which understandably is nice and expected when travelling. We needed to heat up milk and had to physically lift the microwave down off the shelf so the cord could reach a plug. The wifi was very intermittent (I realised this when I got an alert saying all my data was used.)I had to log in every few minutes. Netflix did not have an internet connection and was unavailable. Ona less dramatic but off putting note, one of the heaters provided (the white one) made unsafe noises while on fan heat. The hole in the couch needs mending. I was really looking forward to our night away and hope that future visitors do not get the same substandard experience.

Pleasant

clean and tidy

only thing I did not like was poor communication with the staff. As they have no reception, they said that they would email on the day of check in, details to get into room. I received no email that day and it was not until I reached Masterton and had to phone them that I got check in details. Not a big issue as they answered the phone but not ideal

Horrible experience with a Bully of a Manager

The room were clean and quiet

Pam. Manager. Stole $2500 cash off me. Reported to police as never received notice of removal of the services. Turned up after recieving threatened phone calls about the police. Ended being trespassed and lost money, cost of stay and personal items being trashed in room when Pam, manager changed key on me. The head office says they have no idea and do not wish to engage with me. I will see them both in small claims court. Anybody wish to see police report I will give number out.

Good

It was a stand alone unit... clean and tidy

We didnt see any staff so cant actually rate them... recieved a message informing us how to get into unit. Wouldnt have known who to contact should have i needed someone.

Perfect for my son and I

Wonderful location, just a short walk from Millennium Park which was full of native birds It backs onto farmland so good greenspace and great gardens with a playground for the children. Easy drive into town They made no fuss about us leaving right on time Very friendly people

Not good!

The ppl from The neighbouring room were friendly

This was a terrible experience with their No contact policy. No contact, no responsibility NO HELP! Email contact was complicated and not clear. Not clean at all. Cockroaches. Milk was yuk. Not even value for money. Would not recommend!

An Absolute Gem

The most fabulous villa, a perfect set up for our family for the weekend. Very cosy and comfortable with well equipped kitchen and lots of lounge space for games. Grandkids loved the pool! Chester the dog visited us daily just to ensure that we knew it was his villa 😊 and our host was easy to communicate with. The house is minutes to the town centre and I could not recommend a better or more comfortable place to spend your time in Masterton

We left early as we had enough.. They owe us for three nights.

Accomodation reasonably close to things by car

No site manager, had to telephone. When really stuck they sort of turn up. Staff seem to clean the rooms when you are gone. NO offer to clear, check bins, or do you need anything. They just ignore you. We went out for the day and our room had not been touched or looked at. I would expect this if I was tenting, but not paying a high rate accomodation just to be ignored. When I complained to the manager, she said we are short of staff, well if you cannot provide the basics, your room price should have reduced to reflect this and therefore we would of gone else where.

Okay, but only just.

Good instructions provided on how to access room (as property tries to have contactless check-in). Good suggestions for places to eat in town.

Mattress was hard and bony. Body wash dispenser in shower did not work. Not great pressure in the shower.

A perfectly comfortable and conveniently located base for our hockey team.

I travelled with a group of secondary school aged hockey players to Masterton. We had a tournament in Clareville. The motel was conveniently located within 15 mins of the hockey turf. Both Chinmay and Pam were excellent with their communication. Nothing was every too much trouble. Was great to have access to the pool. Villa was very comfortable. And was perfect for providing a base for the players to gather. Loved the icebox in the freezer and the toilet spray in the toilets...a nice touch.

Oven in the villa was slow and not so convenient for heating up our trays of precooked meals. Would have been good to have had some paper towels in the kitchen area for wiping up spills. The shower in the villa and in one of the units didn't have much pressure- just a dribble/trickle at times. We had to have a go at fixing it ourselves as there weren't staff on site to help us sort it out.

Advert didn't say the room backed on to the laundry which was always in use and loud People parked right outside my door.

Peaceful stay in laid back confortable grounds

lovely grounds a short walk to a good corner store with some lovely lambs bleating in the morning

Value for money, convenient location - well maintained units.

Location is very convenient for Masterton - close enough to the centre, but far enough away that it is quiet. There is plenty of parking - you can usually park right outside your unit. Units are always clean and have everything that you need. Good value for money - may be worth waiting until a few days before you travel as they have never been full and I think the price drops.

The bed was a little soft - I do prefer a firm mattress!
