The old city experience

Amazing hotel within the old city. You feel like you are Indiana Jones. Incredible staff, breakfast and rooftop patio. The restaurant within the hotel is closed due to the lack of tourism because of the war; but the juice/sahlab stand by the entrance is superb.

Fab location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, couldn't have asked for more.

Fabulous location just inside the Jaffa gate and next to the Tower of David in the Old Town. As soon as you walk through the gate, you see this old historical hotel. The room was quite big, with a nice shower and bathroom. The hotel is magnificent, and walking through its corridors and sitting rooms is a treat. The Middle Eastern breakfast was very good.

Best rooftop views and location of Jerusalem. Breakfast and rooms could be upgraded

Location is outstanding. The rooftop was amazing, probably best views in town.

Breakfast could improve substantially, the eggs on metal tray were unedible. The rooms needed some work to update them, specially the bad visible finishing of tiles and doors. The toilet smelled humidity.

overall, it was fantastic. very clean place. Hospitable and honest staff.

Its location inside the jerusalem old city is fantastic! Easy access to the local tourist sites. The vintage vibe and the history of the hotel itself feels like its telling a story. The rooftop is amazing, overlooking the old city. My son enjoyed the telescope so much. h

Hospitality was amazing and embraces diversity and culture.

The service at the hotel was amazing and had met all my needs. The breakfast had myriads of options and had filled my appetite well. Unlimited acess to clean water and beverages 24\7 , which had made my expierence much better. Staff were incredibly helpful and always keen to help even at night time. I liked the fact that the room had no insects especially with the summer weather. The rooms were always cleaned; whenever I got back in the evenings.

Tucked away in the corner of the old town, this place is so old town Jerusalem, so real, so special.

Wonderful hotel in the old town. So classic, so traditional, feels like you're in the middle of the flow of this amazing city. The roof-top views are stunning. It's not fancy, but so authentic. Loved my (2nd) stay and will be back again for sure.

The hotel offers excellent location. The staff was super nice. Leo at the front desk was best.

The staff members starting from the front desk to the dinning hall crew were all excellent.

The bed quality was average or below average and the room could use updating.

Great value for money in the best location

This is a great atmospheric hotel just within the gates of the old city. It is superbly located for sightseeing, you literally step out amongst the monuments. From the rooftop terrace you have a lovely view across the city and David’s tower. Plenty of eateries, shops and cafe’s are right on the doorstep. The single room was small but very convenient and clean, excellent value for money especially with the good breakfast buffet that was included. Best of all though is the staff. They are all super helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to assist. Would very much recommend!

I will consider the alternative choice at second time.

The hotel locates at a very convenient location for exploring the old city. There are many restaurants around the hotel. It makes visiting and eating are very easy. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has basic varieties of choices and it is good enough.

The standard room is smaller than expected. It is heritage building. For old people should consider the difficulty of carrying luggage up to stairs.

Quiet, modest stay

Great location, only a 5-6 minute walk to the Holy Sepulcher if you are visiting. Many great restaurants and shops in the area.

There is no elevator, but the staff are always willing to help you, if you ask.

A wonderful base for our city break, we would stay again!

The location was perfect for exploring the old city. We were very happy with our choice and the staff were really helpful with any enquiry and arrangements needed.

Very loud at night and early morning. Difficult to sleep. The drain in the bathroom had a terrible smell.

The location was excellent, close to main attractions. We enjoyed the breakfast, too.

Room was cold and there was some bad smell coming from the bathroom. The hotel did their best to neutralize it, but it did not help much.

Great hotel in a great location. Was a perfect place for my family of 4.

The location was great! Right inside the Jaffa gate. It was easy to access everything. The hotel let us into our room early. Everything was clean and spacious.

Perfectly located hotel for visiting the old city with a warm welcome

Excellent hotel, staff extremely friendly and helpful, rooms small but clean, bed comfortable, showers hot. Location in the old city is second to none, exactly where we wanted to be. Buffet breakfast adequate and always tea and coffee available in the rooms or at reception. Highly recommended.

Old bread and colored water called "juice" for breakfast. No privacy for the bathroom in the room. Bathroom "walls" made of glass
