good- because they are shangri-la

good location, not far from metro station and train station, a large full functional shopping mall just next to the hotel.

They call they are Shangri-la but provide really low service to customers.

good location indeed. Not far from the Tianjin train station. good view to the Haihe River, nice day time busy inner city and super fun lights show at the night. Free parking facilities on the ground or under grand in the parking lot. some very good shopping centres around hotel. the river view place shopping centre is just located next to the hotel in walking distance.

I think most of things need to be improved. it’s not the problem of specific part, seem like the whole system need to be re-training or need to be fixed. I don’t wanna say the hotel only call Shangri-la but full service just like a express motel. People pay that price need to be treated like Shangri-la customer. If this service standard is your hotel’s general service standard I will say it is really lower than normal 5 stars hotel service standard and sometimes even lower than the some of the small business hotel.

Hotel was unable to live up to its previous exceptional reputation

The hotel room is very comfortable. The Horizon Lounge is always a pleasant experience.

The reception received was not as warm and welcoming as it usually is (it's my third stay at a Shangri-la in 8 months). The breakfast buffet was also not nearly as comprehensive as it was before. On previous visits, I was really made to feel welcomed but this time felt colder than usual. I was disappointed to discover, upon arrival, that I had only been booked for one breakfast. The application only asked if I wanted to include breakfast but not how many. However, after having my one breakfast, I am happy that I did not spend the money on the buffet for every morning that I was booked there for, as I was greatly disappointed to see how small the buffet had become from what it was less than a year before.

Good location, great view and friendly staff

Located only 5 minutes from railway station and close enough to tourist attractions. The view was fantastic and staff is very helpful and friendly.

We had the panoramic view on the 27th floor, but unfortunately our room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Weekend Getaway

What a relaxing, well-appointed hotel! The breakfast buffet is crazy huge with so many options. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable, the view was fabulous, and the location was great for getting out to see everything in Tianjin. The staff was very attentive and helped make arrangements and gave recommendations to make our trip wonderful.

Fabulous stay!

On arrival the check in was straightforward & quick, by a lady called Dora who was very polite & helpful. The room was spacious & very clean. The shower was awesome & the bed was very comfy. The blackout blind was great for the night time👍. The view from our room was great as well. We forgot a couple of things, and within minutes they had bought it to the room. Fab stay, I would definitely recommend!

Nothing to complain about for our first stay!
