This was our first stay at an Angsana property. It is accessible by Didi, taxi from the Xian North station - takes about 40-45 mins. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Room booking on Booking.com didn’t include the Hot springs so you have to pay for access. But the swimming pool is included. Remember to take a swim cap as you need it to enter the pool or you can buy one there.. Breakfast had an amazing spread! Western and Chinese food options. Hot springs are surely the highlight of the hotel. There are about 20-25 hot springs and service is amazing. Hotel is about 10km from the Terracotta warriors and 4km roughly from the Song of everlasting sorrow show. We took didi taxi for both these places from the hotel so very convenient. The hotel reception staff were extremely kind and friendly, patient with us asking so many questions as we didn’t arrange a guide this time around!

We went to the Breeze bar in the evening and only to find that you have to pay to 195 RMB to use the Pool table even if you bought beers. Thought that was strange! Hence why the bar was probably empty!

The evening meal was great- accommodating for most food allergies and diets. Vegetarians and vegans can eat well. The room was grand, comfortable and clean.

We expected multiple entry to the hot springs. Traveling with a small child, we specifically stayed here to be able to have full access to the hot springs- to come and go frequently throughout the day- this is not possible. It is single entry- without suitable food options inside. The hallway to our room was dark and ominous. Our arrival dinner- ala carte- was expensive for the quality. The coffee shop boasted a Starbucks sign but didn't offer anything other than a weak Americano. No milk options on sight. Not Starbucks standards.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. The room was perfect: clean and a beautiful bathroom. The buffet was incredible every night and the staff very helpful and friendly. We tried the spa and the massages were professional and wonderful.
