the hotel gave us room without kitchenette because all of the rooms were full. the room was very small, dirty. We were offered to use the kitchen downstairs which was incredibly dirty. there is no hot water! The building is located in the second line of the street, no light at night. Too many mosquitoes outside (the pool is suicide) as well as inside the room.

Unfriendly staff (the English-speaking girl was fine but most of the time we met only the Spanish-speaking boy who wasn't helpful and seemed like we are bothering him). WiFi didn't work the first night, the second night worked only near the reception and even though was very unstable. Broken lock on main door to the room, it looked like someone broke into there. The neighbourhood didn't look very safe. They didn't reply to my request sent few days before arrival.

The location is very private but close to everthing the hotel looks amaizing i love it ,very home feel 😊the staff was very attentive and helpful I stayed here a few years ago and now I came back with more family members this time around everyone was in love with it I would really recommend this place best airconditioner I’ve seen so far and I visited few places already 😊

The AC didnt work

I booked this hotel for 1 night. I requested 4 rooms. The hotel is in a private area hidden in a back street. It was private and close to the waterfalls. My room ac unit wasn't blowing cold air, the guy was willing to have someone come fix it but we got there late and i really dont use the ac. They had fans in the rooms that was just fine for me. Super friendly and trusting personnel. I would stay there again. Its not a 5 star hotel. It was convenient and private.

Other than the walls need updating and painting in some areas. I dont have much to say. I knew its not going to be perfect. I wasnt going to be there long and everything we did was around the area. I can sleep anywhere and be ok My sister said her bed was comfy.

No need to go anywhere else in Samana. I believe this hotel has everything one need, particularly for budget minded people. Hreat staff, beach, swimming pool , stores and restaurant near by ; the staff will bring whatever you need to you room. Wifi is hard to get in some rooms. You might need to go down to the lobby; rooms next to the lobby give you better signal.
