Hotel familiar perfecto

Hotel tradicional perfectamente ubicado para hacer turismo por la ciudad. Desayuno riquísimo incluido en el precio y con posibilidad de ampliarlo. Personal super atento, te ofrecen todo el tiempo bebidas frías, que se agradece mucho.

Nice boutique hotel with friendly staff.

The included continental breakfast of fresh fruit and sweet breads and coffee and juice was plentiful and delicious. The rooms are updated with native touches. Good WiFi. Very clean every day! Location is good—4 blocks to most sights.

We were offered a warm entree for breakfast and thought it was included. Then we found out it was $9 per person for a tortilla with sauce and scrambled egg. The shower was difficult to regulate—it was either scalding or cold.

Peaceful and beautiful hotel!

Location was great and quiet! Not too busy street traffic around the area. Staff was very attentive and helpful! Rooms were stocked with amenities. The hotel itself was beautiful! Will definitely book here again!

Well run, quiet retreat close to everything.

Room size Comfortable large bed Liked that sink was separated from shower and toilet Breakfast in courtyard was very nice Friendly staff Location. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, zocalo.

We loved Oaxaca and Hotel NaNa Vida was a pleasant part of our stay.

The entire staff were helpful, warm and super friendly. The room was large and the shower was great. We loved the courtyard and having the complimentary continental breakfast of fruits, breads and juice there. Our waitress, Eba, was exceptionally nice. Location was a short walking distance to the square, with multiple restaurants and shops nearby. We will stay here again whenever we return to Oaxaca.

The shower was large and nice but the water temperature setting was a little hard to adjust in our room.

Don’t miss this place!

The location was fabulous! However, the best part of this property was the staff. They went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and anticipate any needs you might have. they couldn’t have done it better.

Excelente lugar super recomendado

El personal super amable y al pendiente, el lugar se encuentra cerca del centro, no se escuchaba nada de ruido, podias en la noche estar afuera de la habitacion tomando la noche-madrugada, el desayuno de la casa muy bien, nos regalaron unos jabones naturales muy ricos y al final nos dieron unos obsequios por ser la primera vez en el hotel.

Solo si podrian poner mas shampoo y buscar una alianza o convenio con alguno de los estacionamientos cerca para dejar el carro

Great hotel with local flair in great location.

We absolutely loved the property. It fuses local culture with great hospitality. Everyone is EXCEPTIONALLY nice, efficient and capable. We liked the breakfast, the small touches and friendly service. Feels like home!

Wonderful memories!

Staff went far and beyond to accomodate our needs. Very, very nice all of them. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and excellent location. They helped us with the tours - which they were great- I will definitely come back again!

The bathroom didn't have enough ventilation.

The staff, accommodations, and hotel’s location will bring us back to NaNa Vida every time we stay in Oaxaca.

The staff was attentive and supportive throughout our stay. They offered us bottles of water every day as we headed out in the morning, and welcomed us warmly on our return. The room was as described, comfortable, and the air conditioning blew cold.

Wi-Fi was a little spotty but we were able to connect throughout our stay.

The best place to stay in Oaxaca

The hotel is located in the city centre. It has been the only place in Mexico (country) were spring water has been offered (all places only offer treated). As a boutique hotel, they also have quite a lot of furniture coming from Oaxaca's crafters and the place is beautifully decorated. The personnel is super nice and attentive and they are always looking after your comfort and satisfaction.

The place is perfect. I would not change anything of its facilities or the service. Continental breakfast was included for me, but extra plates came with a cost. It was already part of my booking so I did not mind this.

The location was perfect for walking to the main downtown areas. Restaurants and cafes were nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was especially nice...always asking us if there was anything we needed. Every morning they had complimentary coffee, juice, bread and fruit...it was perfect. The gifts they gave us were an extra special touch.

"Real Mexico" Highlight!

Loved the attentive staff, the location of the hotel and the second floor Deluxe King room #4 with a beautiful shutter open window. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Getting up for a great breakfast in the courtyard and meeting/mingling with other guests was the highlight of our 6 night stay. This was truly a wonderful "real Mexico" experience, not to be missed. The tours that they arranged for us were perfect. We went 2 different shorter days (not the 1-day marathon that many take) and really enjoyed seeing the many artisans and Mount Alban. Many wonderful restaurants nearby and really enjoyed Casa Oaxaca our last night. We would gladly return!

Took forever to get any warm water in our shower on the second floor. Our caregiver stayed in a room on the ground floor and didn't have any problem with the water temperture.

I wish I could keep NaNa Vida a secret!

The breakfast that was included was fantastic. We got all the welcome and help and warm hospitality we could have hoped for. The beds are comfortable and each unit has its own HVAC with a mini-split. The noise from the street was not terrible at all! In fact, if you are sensitive, there is a white noise machine and earplugs. The place is safe and secure and clean and hospitable.

The hot and cold water controls are not quite right in the shower so the water is either too hot or not strong enough. Not a deal breaker though! and easy to fix!
