Excelentes vacaciones familiarea

Las instalaciones siempre limpias y el lago es precioso para pasar días en familia. Que el desayuno y cena esten incluidos sin duda agrega valor a la estadía y además los menús excelentes

Vistas increíbles al lago

La vista hacia el lago es espectacular, la comida que ofrecen es deliciosa.

La ubicación, no está nada céntrico. Deberían de tener auto o Tuc Tuc gratuito para transportar de un lado a otro a los turistas.

Excellent car très reposant. L’eau de la rivière est claire et pas trop froide.

Tranquillité, ambiance, couchers de soleil, beaucoup d’activités, personnels accueillants, repas excellents qualités.

La primera noche estuvimos en la cabaña 1, el colchón estaba viejo y hundido en la mitad. Le dije a la recepción y de inmediato reaccionaron de manera muy diligente.

Fantastic spot. Would recommend a long stay and bringing your family!

Our family of five with three young kids stayed 6 nights at Gringo Perdido and had an excellent time. The hotel has an incredible lakeside setting, with plenty of activities to keep families occupied (swimming, kayaking, relaxing, visits to archeological sites, visits to Flores, short hikes etc...). Overall the hotel is very family friendly, with lots of things for kids to do, and plenty of other families around. The food was excellent and healthy (both set meals at lunch and dinner, and food on the menus available throughout the day). Bar was well stocked, and cocktails were very tasty. Mood was wholesome and relaxing. Not at all rowdy, the kind of place where you head to bed early and wake up refreshed for the following day.

Very little. If they wanted to improve they could have more toys for kids, and board games for guests to use. But these are really differences at the margin.

La comida es excelente, la atención y el servicio superaron mis expectativas. Definitivamente todos los colaboradores muy atentos y amables.

I loved the place and would love to come back.

The property is immersed in the lakeside jungle. The lake is the backdrop for this great place.

I love nature so having all sorts of critters around did not bother me. some people might not like this.

Hotel Gringo Perdido is located in a beautiful and magical spot in El Remate .

It is not that we don’t like the property, is that for example we did not took advantage of the facilities and extras we had in our suite, (terrace and jacuzzi) to give you an example because even though it was clean, want to make clear that the cleaning people were A no. 1, . Jacuzzi needs to be renovated, did not looked spick and span although it was clean. The cushions of the terrace furniture need to be replaced and renovated too. p

Nice restaurant and lake access but very old rooms

communal areas (restaurant, lounge, access to lake) are very nice and seem renovated to a great standard included breakfast/ dinner

the bedrooms/ bathrooms were very old and not particularly clean (despite request for cleaning) eg dead bugs, chipped paint and wooden parts the bed was very old and soft our room was just separated by a wooden, light door to another guests room

Exceptional

The place is just amazing. It was super to be able to swim in the Lake after Tikal. Food was great, staff very friendly and helpful. All perfect.

Just realise after we left, we got charged for 2 transports although we have used just one when leaving the Hotel. (as the Hotel did not react qiuckly enough to our request for picking us up-need to say I have send the request just a day ahead-we had to arrange the transport from Flores to Gringo by ourselves).
