Five minutes on foot to Roppongi station which directly connects to Shinjuku. The area itself is quiet despite being in a centric spot of Roppongi itself. Staff is helpful and can speak some English if needed.

Rooms are very small, could not open my suitcase up all the way (to be fair, I did have a medium-to-large size suitcase), the check in process is supposed to be "automated," but we kept getting error messages on the check in kiosk - thankfully, front desk worker was there to check us in. When I asked for an extra pillow, the front desk worker was very surprised, actually laughed at me - I was not used to that, while I did ultimately get my extra pillow for comfort, I am used to friendlier customer service in Japan.

It was overall nice. European 3 Star hotels are way worse. Room was small but ok. A bit dirty but clean enough. Breakfast was great and the location as well.

The entry was a bit hard to find, but I got it after 2min.

Location was superb and lots of small local places for drinks and to eat. Some Japanese basics would help, but Google translate saved me many times in these restaurants and Izakayas.

Possibly the size of the room, very compact space. It really didn't bother me in the end to be honest. I only went back there for a quick sleep and was out again exploring everyday.

The self check-in machine is a waste of time because after we did that it got a error message saying that our credit card can’t be used please proceed to staff…. so what’s the point?
