Die Lage des Hotels und insbesondere das Strandrestaurant sind ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer (Superior) sind grosszügig und das Bad sehr gross mit Aussicht auf das Meer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die sportlichen Aktivitäten sind mit insgesamt 4 Bikes, 3 Kanus, SUP's und Taucherbrillen etwas beschränkt.
Die beiden Pools sind sehr klein und der eine leider nicht mit Natursteinen ausgelegt. Die Halbpension lohnt sich auf gar keine Fall, da man bereits den Cappuccino und für die meisten Gerichte einen Aufpreis bezahlen muss. Dieses Konzept ist so leider nicht nachvollziehbar und wohl einzigartig. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, aber die Preise teilweise zu hoch. Insbesondere die Fischplatte gehört wohl zu den teuersten auf ganz Mauritius.

the hotel is a "boutique hotel", small but luxurious. Perfect to relax for 2. A car is to be recommended though if sightseeing is intended.
Main asset of the hotel : Extremely (and I cannot stress this enough) friendly and helpful staff. This begins with the reception desk.Here I specially like to mention Vimie, is continued at the restaurant. Here our most frquent and most intensive contact was with Dinesh, who not only was very helpful in chosing the right menue but also provided contacts for excursions and gave valuable insight in where to go and what to do. The same level of friendliness was displayed by his kollegues. I´d like to name here Anais,Stella, Nancy, and also, though we had less contact Manis, Okilesh, and Fugai.
Service at the beach and pool as well as room service (2x daily) were super as well. Here i´d like to name Deepti, Shivani, Vishal Sajeed and Praksh.

Beautiful place. The staff is really warm and accomodating. In particular, the resturant made special vegetarian meals for us. And Dinesh, our server, gave us many suggestions and ideas about what to do! Excellent relaxing stay!
Just look at a map before you book. It is not close to many of the attractions in the south. But its a beautiful place to swim and relax

The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating as well as courteous and professional. After a very long flight, we were very tired and were lucky to be able to check in an hour earlier. Staff at the reception made us feel welcome since the minute we walked in.
Then we needed a day to unwind and Spa was the place to go. Special shout out to Ritika. We used the spa a good few times throughout our stay and it offers a wide range of massages and beauty treatments. Their signature massage is chakra massage and I highly recommend it.
We had a minor issue with the room and once reported, the hotel staff took action immediately and as an apology, they upgraded us to a superior room.
The food was delicious. Everything we tried, tasted really good. Initially I did not book all inclusive as I thought that I would eat out most of the times but it was the opposite, we ended having food mainly at the hotel because it was that good.
I chose this hotel because I did not want to stay at a busy resort and it was the right decision. I also liked the beach as it was quite good for snorkelling.
All in all, this place was just perfect for my needs and highly went above my expectations.
The wind could get a bit rough at times but it was the winter and expected in the East Coast. Most of the times, the breeze was pleasant.

Absolutely love our stay there and wish it could be longer! The hotel is decorated with so much careful considerations and it works with the ocean view. The staff is probably the best part as they are really friendly and helpful. They really try their best to make you feel like home. The complimentary massage was a great welcome. We were also surprised by the fact they spoiled us with two different bed displays for our anniversary. It was really surprising to see a different one after dinner.
We would like to thank all of the staff, especially Dinesh and Abhi from the catering, Shivani from the housekeeping and Vimi from the front desk.

This hotel was faultless! The facilities are exceptional- you have 2 gorgeous pools and a private beach alongside an incredible restaurant and lovely lounge areas on site. Our room and terrace were great and the staff were what made the experience so perfect. They strike the balance of being attentive and friendly whilst leaving you space to relax. We visited in their winter, July, and it was quiet, peaceful and warm.

I would recommend that they maybe look at the dinner menu - a vegetarian starter would be good and some salad options.
Although I enjoyed the bathroom amenities, I would prefer something made local or at least in South Africa.

Very peacefull and quiet place to realax and enjoy wonderfull time by the beach.
It is a small complex not big traffic which made it much suitable for those looking for less crowd.
Room is well decorated , bed very comfy, stunning few to the wavy beach.
Staf are super friendly and helpful, special thanks to Mr.Yasser for his excellent customer service and good advise.
Breakfast was delicious (ala carte) with fresh pastries & fruit, we tried lunch which was also good and reasonably priced.
Location is in the north east of the island just 30 min drive to grand bae in the north west.

The location of the property with its private beach and beautiful pool was great but what we loved the most was the staff! Abi, the barmaid really stood out - cocktails were amazing, he gave us many tips to get around, food to try and made sure we had the best experience not only at the hotel but on the whole island! The location of this hotel is amazing, we had a fantastic view from our room over the ocean. Everything is immaculate, from the rooms to the restaurant to the beach area. We had a wide range of breakfast options, all very delicious. Activities like standup paddling and Kajaks are offered for free. Finally, what made our stay so special was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, especially Sebastien at the bar was great company and told us a lot about the island and the Mauritius way of living. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.
The only thing we would have liked would be some more vegetarian options at dinner.

The whole property is beautifully decorated. Our room was exceptionally clean and well attended to. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much and we never had to lift a finger during breakfast lunch or dinner. The food was of very high quality, we loved each dish. It was the perfect detox and location to kick start our honeymoon in Mauritius. thank you!
Maybe to have some more meal options included in the full board basis. However all meal options within full board were worth trying and delicious.

Staff very friendly but service let them down - waited 15 minutes for menu at first dinner, then 40 minutes for menu at breakfast. This made us feel a bit awkward and set a bad tone at the beginning of our honeymoon. We mentioned this to manager, and service improved after this to be fair. Other small things include getting orders wrong and having to ask for things multiple times eg juice or the bill.
Had to pay for still water at dinner which seemed a shame, other hotels we ate at did not do this. Also limited selection of dinner options included in half board menu.
Although a nicely presented hotel, there are no other amenities, cafes, bars etc nearby, so if you want to go and explore elsewhere then a car is essential.
During the evenings, there was little to no atmosphere. This is difficult being a small hotel, but the music at mealtimes would play for 10 minutes at a time before cutting out, and there was no evening entertainment at all. We were told the hotel was full but the bar was always empty and guests would tend to just come for dinner and then go straight back to room.

The overall hotel is just great, just recently refurbished and with an incredible attention to decoration details. The rooms are very large, comfortable an clean and basically we could see the ocean from bed. Food also great. The location is very quiet amd I got the impression that altghough it is a bit remote, it is in a upper residential areas (the road passing in the back of the hotel was veey clean, all the neighbourghoud villas seemed very nice).
No major issues - sometimes the staff forgot our requests (like car rental, taxi, boat inquiries) until we followed-up - all were solved in the end if we reverted. Please note the beach has some corals/ stones/ seaweed and it is not very wide. The sunloungers are distributed on terraced levels a little bit above the beach - for us not a problem at all, but mentioned it here as relevant info.

i was given a room upgrade, it was ‘awesome’ i had my personal balcony facing the sea. i liked how the management made sure i had a good stay. the staff there are friendly and open to suggestions.

The restaurant staff were great, and the food was nice. The interiors and general decoration is lovely, well done! The assistant manager, Krishna was very apologetic and helpful to our initial bad start on arrival.
The receptionist on arrival was woeful, our room key still couldn't be found after we arrived 2 hours later than announced, the spare key didn't work, and no apologies at any point. Room was very narrow, pillows not very comfortable, and aircon. sensor light kept us awake at night😣. Room price is very expensive compared to much larger rooms offered at nearby hotel with better bathroom amenities...🧐

it’s very calm place, you can barely hear the sound of cars or any machines! and the place is very faraway from any places so you feel like you are deattached from everything.
it was very relaxing, the staff( specifically Fabrice) and the a mazing chef ( Gopee shailendra ) made our stay unforgettable!
there’s a nice guy (Bayan-hope I spelled it correctly) helped us in snorkeling and kayaking for free! and also taught me how to swim
the room has no phone only panic button, it would be easier if they could have a phone!
the menu is very limited, it would be better if they have more options for breakfast and dinner!
when we asked for water at our room they said we should pay , so don’t forget to bring your water bottles from any supermarket!

we just loved La Maison d Ete. it is a beautiful intimiste boutique hotel. Everything about it is tasteful the decoration, the rooms all the social areas.
The sea view is spectacular, enjoying it from your sun bed.
it offers all the confort of a resort (spa, service, pool) without the impersonal part of the big hotels.
staff is amazing, Darel at the beach, Abhi the barman, the hotel director!
