Highly recommend this place for a short trip to Barcelona

Great location with impressive views! Located atop the city of Barcelona. Great service, staff and amenities. Enjoyable breakfast and dinner options at the hotel. Taxi rides to and from the city between $25-50 each way, depending on time of day/ traffic etc.

Mühsam von dort in die Stadt zu kommen.

Leider lag das Hotel so weit abseits das es kaum Möglichkeiten gab von dort ohne Taxi nach Barcelona zu kommen. Das bedeutet das man jeden Tag mindestens 50,00 Euro für ein Taxi ausgeben muss. Die Auskünfte des Personals war leider wenig hilfreich.

És un luxe per espai,confort i tranquil·litat. Amabilitat del personal. Bon servei. Estada de qualitat

L'accés a l'hotel. L'Ajuntament talla l'accés amb tanques i les has de passar per accedir a l'hotel. Cal que l'hotel avisi d'aquesta circumstància. Jo no vaig saltant-me tanques de l'ajuntament, i si estan posades perquè hi ha un problema viari, un forat ala carretera? Qui traspassa una tanca de l'ajuntament si no t'avisen des de l'hotel ? És una situació molt irregular que caldria que solucionessin ajuntament i hotel. UN CARTELLET, "EXCEPTE CLIENTS DE L'HOTEL" a la tanca, i il·luminat! Que allí a la nit no es veu res de res! M'hagués agradat que allarguessin mitja hora l'estona de l'esmorzar, fins a les 11h

Fantastisk dejligt ophold. Kunne ikke ønske noget bedre.

Fantastisk smuk indretning overalt på hotellet. Meget charmerende! Der var virkelig kræset om detaljer. Varm velkomst, flinkt personale i både reception, bar og restaurant, flot værelse fyldt med “ældre” charme, som vi værdsatte! Gode senge, dejligt sengetøj. Dejlig spa, svømmebassin, bar og restaurant, hvor vi fik en overdådig morgenbuffet. Kan varmt anbefales!

Une vue à couper le souffle

Nous avons adoré la vue et l’emplacement loin de la folie du centre de Barcelone. L’emplacement est parfait pour une famille La qualité et le confort de la literie L’extrême gentillesse du personnel La beauté du lieu

Nous avons eu un petit soucis dans la baignoire de la chambre l’eau était jaune … pas terrible surtout que les enfants se sont baignés dedans … et cette chambre avait une seule fenêtre qui donnait sur le parking … mais suite au problème, nous avons demandé à changer et ça été fait sans problème. Aussi l’eau de la piscine été vraiment trop froide dommage

Absolutely recommended!

Everything: it’s absolutely adorable! The staff was nice, helpful. The place is clean and tidy, smell nice, all around the L’Occitane signature aromas. All the amenities necessary in the room. Beautiful design! The location is marvelous, on top of the hill, surrounded by greenery, with the best probably view of the whole city. Prime location: near beautiful Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Parc d'atraccions Tibidabo. Tasty food in the restaurant, perfect service, attentive waiters. 11 out of 10!

More than dissapointing service/ horrendeus

I Need to put a deposit of 300 EUR, which was not a problem. However, because during the Last night the deposit was totally used a waiter knocked on my door after 22:30 and wake me and my kids up to cleared the Restaurant invoice. The fact that i signed the bill to be attached to my total room expenses was not good enough for this called 5stars hotel. From my Point of view they don’t qualify as a 5 stars hotel nor should have the label „Leading hotels of the World“

We loved it, the staff were especially amazing in all ways

Quality of food on offer was very good especially for lunch and dinner. Comfortable luxurious hotel, great location, stunning views, laidback unstuffy vibe Amazing staff from front house to housekeeping Great facilities

Breakfast was expensive for those with small appetites. All we wanted was coffee and toast, that was €25. Would be nice to have just a sandwich on the lunch menu, only a club sandwhich which was very expensive.

The hotel is good, but the location is too far from the downtown. And the last bus toward to the hotel is over at 9:19 PM, so we can not stay too late in the downtown.

The temperature is low and the location is too far. It's not very convenient to go to the downtown. And the price of the hotel is not cheap.

Pleasant stay on the outskirts of Barcelona

This is a good quality five-star hotel away from the city: great views and excellent facilities. Lovely pool, the biggest one in Barcelona hotels. The building is historical with 125+ years, so expect things to be dated and modernised to the level possible with an old historical building as limitations are imposed on this kind of building's renovation. Obama and Spielberg stayed in the hotel just a few months before, so this says it all. Good breakfast.

Some rooms have old air conditioning control, which is a mess to work out how to use correctly. Food is highly overpriced and has inadequate quality for the price in the restaurant outside of breakfast hours. The staff Is very kind, but generally underskilled and undertrained in day-to-day management. This shows that the hotel's staff training level is not up to the standards for a 5-star hotel, and it's not the staff's fault. We had to wait longer for taxis due to mistakes of the reception staff, did not get the right food at the restaurant due to the waiter's error and had more of those unpleasant, annoying little things that ruined the overall experience. So recommend double or triple-check whatever you ask from the hotel personnel to avoid surprises.

Yes just book it

Awsome grand hotel and location, though you have to plan your way to the city as we didn’t want to bring our car, the views are amazing, the pool is perfect and the restaurant is the restaurant, choice is limited and decor is a little underwhelming but all in all a really nice place to spend a couple of nights.

The restaurant menu is limited and the decor is underwhelming compared to the rest of the hotel.

Some of the view, some staff such as restaurant staff were lovely and attentive

The fact that the water was yellow and facilities advertised were closed, worst of all booking.com has done nothing at all to step in for consumer protection even though I sent clear pictures and videos on what is clearly health and safety concern
