the property was beautiful our pod was private, it was stunning. the food was exceptional and they catered for every need. the drives were beyond belief and our ranger was phenomenal. I cannot find the words to say what a once in a lifetime opportunity it was

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the staff so attentive and friendly. The meals and wine which was inclusive were really superb. Jason our guide was so knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Highly recommend.

The gravel road to the lodge needs to be graded.

The pods are spectacularly beautiful. No better place to rest. The service is excellent and our guide was outstanding and always helpful, friendly and on time.

The pods are so different and we loved it…. the whole experience was great.

The Manor Staff Ladies were great. The Breakfast and Dinner was amazing. The game drives were good and Hein was a great Ranger with lots of knowledge. The Manor and Cottage was very clean and the staff take pride on the work they do.

The bed linen in the Cottage we stayed in was old and worn,even had a hole on the fitted sheet, also the towels had seen better days as all frayed around edges. The GM we saw only for a 1 minute brief upon arrival then on departure when we had to settle our Bill. Didn't observe much interaction with Guests..

The lodge is located in a beautiful valley with views all around. It has been beautifully restored and the rooms are tastefully decorated. We were upgraded to Peppertree Lodge which is secluded from the main Manor house, it has a hot tub to soak in. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

Nothing to fault them!

The location was remote as one can get and the privacy 100% guaranteed. The POD ( no 2 ) was extremely well located for spectacular view of the Karoo Planes as well as the majestic Sneeuberge. The grass planes at the the top if the valley where the POD was located ensured for some amazing game viewing in the morning and afternoons. The game ranger and field guide Ryan Ormerod was immensely well knowledgeable and when he talked we would listed as there was ALWAYS something unique or interesting coming your way. The staff and the Manor House and main Restaurant was equally friendly professional and the food was excellent.

The water for shower tend to not get to the normal temperature one would expect ( could be due to the power/gas supply due to remoteness of the location) The skylight was difficult to open ( was not explained when we had a tour of the POD ) The spirits drinks that was available af the Manor House as part of full board was not stocked af the POD and only beers and wines ( not a huge issue as we took our own with aswel )

I thought it was expensive. I thought I had booked for 4 and it turned out I had booked for 2.

The location of the reserve was fantastic and the building was renovated in line with its origin. The food was great and the kitchen staff was really friendly. (And all the staff have been vaccinated) They went to a lot of effort for dinner on new Year's eve.

We did not get the room we booked. We were disappointed in the room on arrival, but did not raise the issue as the lodge was fully booked and thought the room was misrepresented on booking.com. When we left on the last day however, we saw another room that matched the pictures on the site, so I think we were given the wrong room. Looking at the website afterwards, I could not get one photo of the substandard room we were put in. To be specific, the room we booked were a Suite with Mountain View (including a seating area and private entrance). Our room was the smallest room possible, with no seats (other than the stool thingy at the vanity), and our door opened practically onto the communal kitchen. Information in the booklet in the room was out of date/incorrect and some options listed on the site wasn't offered (such as stargazing or the option of a bush walk in lieu of a game drive)

The location is absolutely incredible and the staff are wonderful.

The Game Drives were the Highlight of our stay, Jason, our guide went out of his way to show us all the game on the property.

The WiFi was the only problem we had during our stay. It was knocked out by Load shedding, however was in the process of being repaired

The food, total ambience, game drives and knowledge of our guide - everything was top nitch. We also had the luxury of the "honeymoon" suite : Peppertree Cottage The fire place, heated floors - everything was great !

Choice of menu - we were not asked if we were vegetarians for example

The entire team was excellent, the accommodation is superb and it is an extraordinarily beautiful setting.

The eco pods are an exceptional experience… an absolute highlight of a bush experience! the staff were amazing and nothing is too much trouble .

The breakfast was delicious. It took abt an hour from Graaf Reinette to get there.

Stunning property in a lovely location, the most breathtaking views and complete exclusivity at the pods. Very unique type of accommodation, enjoyed the game drives and the very friendly staff.

The food definitely could get better, I appreciated the stocked drinks fridges, but they need to improve especially their breakfast and dinner offering.

Stunning location, excellent service. Beautiful scenery and animals and very good guide on the game drives. Absolutely loved the pod. Ryan guided us and knew his animals and birds well. He made it very interesting indeed!

Stunning location and loved the breakfast. Flies were a bit of a problem, but the staff was very aware of the issue.

Staff were so friendly and the food was the highlight ofthe day . Compliments to the chef. Our ranger also helped us alot.

Needs a bit of maintenance in general . Roof was leaking in the corridor but nothingthat a bucket could not help with. Sheets were a bit torn .
