Amazing hotel - will go back!

excellent restaurant - reasonable prices for the size of the portions and competitive with local restaurants. the pool and bedroom were better than expected. The staff were super helpful and had great service!

clean well appointed wonderful staff beautiful grounds spacious room uncrowded beaches

poor enforcement of quiet hours. one group partied in the pool outside our cabana until 1130 PM. Even after talking to security and having them intervene, they stayed around talking for some time. the pool is supposed to close at ten.

I spent great time with my family, no inconveniences, just a little hungry after lunch

In general I spent very great time in the hotel. Service, attention etc was good.

I think the breakfast could be better since is too small, also for the dinner my suggestion is include more tipical food.

The place is awesome! The staff is great :) Special thanks to Jesus who helped us and made our stay unforgettable :)

In a hot place like this it is mandatory to have an access to a free drinkable water :) we had just a small bottle of water per person which was far away from enough :) Also - mosquitos are terrible, I recommend to add nets on windows in the rooms.

front desk staff wasn’t great. they didn’t let us check in until 1 even though hotel wasn’t very full. they only gave us 3 breakfasts even though we spent $200 on food and drinks in or one day at the hotel. gave us a hard time abouteplacing my pool towels.

pretty impressed with the property and level of service.

beautifully kept facilities. The room was simply yet conveniently appointed. Pools were great. impressed with the service.

The room could have used a full body mirror, some sort of either window covering or curtain/door between the bathroom and bedroom because the bathroom windows had no coverings it got pretty light and bright in the room as soon as the sun came up.

Really nice and quiet

Pretty pool and private beach. Everything looked really clean. Staff was really kind and the breakfast was good and big enough.

the pillows were too big and stiff for my neck, I had to remove it but wasn't comfortable the rest of the night. The restaurant and bar prices were I believe too expensive. Around 65 dollars per meal for 2 people.

Gorgeous, clean & well kept property except for surrounding beach, great pools & staff, huge rooms

There are three nice outdoor pools at the facility and the open air restaurant is close by. Very hardworking employees, restaurant food was decent and fresh, and premises kept clean. Bartenders very nice. Pools are open until 9 or 10 p.m. at night and perfect for an evening dip. Loved the tiki hut and bungalow buildings. Quiet and peaceful - no noise heard from other units.

The beach immediately behind the resort and in the vicinity of the resort needs to cleaned up of all the discarded plastic bottles, plastic flip flops and other trash. Such an eyesore and heartbreaking to see litter all over an otherwise beautiful beach - no one wants to go to a dumpster beach - however, surprisingly the shore right next to the water looked very clean - it was the area between right behind the hotel and the shore. All businesses should form an alliance to maintain that beach and city clean as it appears the municipality does nothing about it. Also lots of trash dumped on main road - simply disgusting! What the hotel can control is the litter behind and immediately around the property and have workers pick it up twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Just a sheet on top of the bed, no comforter. The safe inside the room did not work properly, it was very complicated to program, alarm kept going off and batteries for alarm had to be removed because no one knew how to fix it or reprogram it. Worst safe ever - stick with the simple ones that use 4-digit codes!

Fantastic resort in Monterrico

It is a great property, the pool views, the room, simply amazing!

My only comment here will be the restaurant, maybe offering move local options will match better than an almost whole European menu.

it was clean

the room includes 2 adults and 1 child - and we were 3 adults (1 extra) and 1 child - so we knew that we needed to pay 1 extra person. The policy says that children under 8 are free - and they charged me one more extra person for him! I explain and they just didn’t understand.

It is one of the hotels near Monterrico with the nicest facilities. The property has direct access to the beach. And the three pools are very nice to hang around.

The Menu is very limited and too expensive. I know it's Monterrico and food isn't exactly cheap there, but I feel there should be more variety both in the menu and the price range. What we ended up doing was just having the complimentary breakfasts in the hotel, and then we ate every single other meal outside since we would easily spend half as much as in the hotel without a real difference in quality.
