Schönes, modernes Hotel

Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig, Fußbodenheizung, gute Matratze. Tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Personal extrem freundlich. Fußläufig zur Altstadt und zum See. Großer Parkplatz. Hundefreundlich.

Very clean and functional room, modern clean. Need nothing else, really?

A small fridge would be cool and there would be room behind the divider. Rust is a sleep town and restaurant, especially still at this time of the year have erratic open times and in general close early!

Nice hotel - good value for the money

The room was nice and clean. The breakfast had good variety (even for vegetarians) and was delicious. When we stayed at this hotel there was ample parking, which is a must given how far Rust is from Vienna/the airport. We liked that the hotel was close to the FamilyPark amusement park (5-10 minutes drive). The hotel and the small town (Rust) are nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday (which is exactly what we were looking for).

As others have mentioned: the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not close properly, therefore, you can hear everything that is happening in the bathroom. Also, the family room had a tiny closet and we ended up keeping the clothes in our bags/trollers.

We loved the stay in this hotel and Rust

Excellent location. Perfect set up of the room, simple and comfortable with a huge balcony facing to the see and with morning sunrise. The breakfast is fabulous. The staff helpful and friendly, we were welcome with our dog and excellent treated.

The staff was very friendly and open, room spotless clean and comfortable and breakfast delicious!

We selected a room with a 'lake view'. We ended up in a room on a ground floor just by the car park and were woken up at night by car engines starting off and people's chatter. The lake-view expectations were very far from the reality. That was disappointing.

Beyond our expectations

The Katamaran hotel might lack some charm at first sight, but the terrace, the manicured garden, the lobby and the tastefully decorated rooms made up for it, totally! We were met by a very friendly person who went out of her way to make us welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was incredible; so fresh and a huge variety of food. We will definitely stay there again. Btw, the Katamaran restaurant, owned by the same people, is a must. Lovely setting and very nice food. We had a lovely time in Rust.

Nice and new, clean design.

It's a nice hotel with all the basics: clean, new, and nice breakfast.

I found it was a little expensive considering we were there in the off, off season, and it's only a 3 star hotel.
