The time I spent at the JW Marriot was literally one of the best experiences I had. This was my honeymoon trip and I wanted everything to be perfect. The hospitality and the view

They were too kind that become annoying in some cases. The variety of food that is not spiced and no salt. The food need to be re-evaluated by the management

The property, though being big, feels intimate - perfect for a romantic getaway. Offers great complimentary activities such as stargazing, snorkelling, yoga and tennis.

Restaurants are quiet / could be more lively

Service en personeel is erg goed. Iedereen zeer vriendelijk. Ook het eten is heerlijk.

Ik vind dat het hotel wel iets meer mag doen aan de ambiance. Er was ‘work in progress’ bij het zwembad, wat een ongezellige indruk maakte. Daarnaast vond ik dat er niet genoeg mogelijkheden warenom, als het regent, ergens fijn en gezellig te zitten. ( behalve op je kamer) Waarom geen koffiebar met mogelijkheid om een spelletje te doen of om je laptop open te klappen. Waar wat muziek is en waar je koffie en iets (kleins) kan bestellen. Er is niet veel om naar toe te gaan als het regent, ook niet in de omgeving. Omgeving van het strand is mooi maar op het strand veel gebroken koraal waardoor het lastig lopen is.

- professional staff - Very friendly and helpful staff - beautiful beach - great room sizes - specifically one staff member (female) who worked at the pool & also at the beach. She always ended her phrases with "certainly sir/ma'am". She was AMAZING! When she was around, we knew, we would get excellent service. Thanks to the entire staff for making this vacation a relaxing, memorable & unforgettable moment.

This hotel and staff are a 10 out of 10. There were absolutely no negative points to be mentioned but maybe some helpful tipps on some very small adaptions: - since this is a private beach/hotel i think external parties shouldn't fish or sunbath in the hotel area - cleaning was excellent but the capsules in the coffee-machine weren't removed, we did it ourselves. - mini bar refill staff, water refill staff & cleaning personell should do the rooms at the same time. - beach bar, (the bar closer to the villa) has some issues. Food / drinks we ordered never arrived but glasses with ice arrived. Happened 2 times, unfortunately our favorite staff member (female) wasn't there.. but the staff member that worked on those days were chatting behind the bar. So no busy time.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Le Morne, zuletzt im LUX. Das Marriott hat uns insgesamt besser gefallen, vor allem weil es besser ausgestattet ist. Es werden mehr Aktivitäten angeboten und die Restaurantauswahl ist deutlich größer und es hat uns auch viel besser geschmeckt. Unser Butler Kanen hat uns den Aufenthalt über sehr gut betreut und sich sehr bemüht. Am Strand wurden wir immer sehr nett umsorgt von Vimal, vielen Dank! Auch das übrige Personal war top. Für Surfer liegt das Hotel perfekt, man ist schnell am Spot. Bei Nordwind kann man sogar direkt vor der Haustüre Windsurfen, Kiten und bei high tide auch Wing foilen. Im super eingerichteten Fitnessstudio hatten wir auch ein tolles personal Training mit Yogesen, vielen Dank! Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Urlaub, wo kann man schon vom Frühstückstisch aus Wale beim springen beobachten?

Was uns nicht gefallen hat ist der asphaltierte Weg zum Zimmer, dort fahren andauernd Buggys hin und her, man muss ständig ausweichen und kann nicht in Ruhe entlanggehen. Können nicht verstehen warum es keinen zweiten Weg am Strand entlang gibt? Hatten auch einen Tisch gebucht für ein romantisches Dinner am Strand, ds war schön, aber Preis-Leistung unangemessen. Hatten fest vor im nächsten Jahr über Weihnachten und Neujahr für unsere Flitterwochen nochmal zu kommen, nach einem Angebot über den vierfachen Preis werden wir uns allerdings etwas anderes suchen, schade!

Das beste Hotel auf Mauritius. Essen top, probiert den Inder! Service mehr als top Der Strand der schönste auf der Insel Die Zimmer sehr gemütlich und werden mehrmals am Tag gereinigt Das Haupthaus im Kolonialstil ist ebenfalls sehr gemütlich. Lauft einfach mal durch.

Einziger Verbesserungspunkt: Wenn man vom Zimmer zum Haupthaus, Restaurants, Bar, gym etc. will, ist der einzige gute Weg zwischen Häusern und der Parallelen Hauptstraße. Über diesen Weg fährt auch ständig das Personal mit den Buggies. Kein schöner Weg zum Spazieren. Ich würde dem Hotel empfehlen einen gepflasterten Weg zwischen den Häusern und Strand zu bauen und diesen nur für die Gäste zu erlauben. Das würde das Laufen (bis zu 10 Minuten, je nach Lage) vom Zimmer zum Mittelpunkt des Hotels deutlich verschönern.

Le personnel aux petits soins, le cadre est magnifique (Morne Brabant juste derrière), la nourriture est excellente, très propre, très calme.

More than anything else we enjoyed an exceptional level of service from the whole staff, from reception to restaurants to room cleaning, beach service, etc. Room was good, we had one on the second floor of a villa looking at the beach and the ocean, great view, comfortable room and a nice terrace. Beach was absolutely great. The five restaurants were all good, we tried them all. Hotel has an excellent gym, great spa and the concierge will help arrange for a variety of excursions, we went to see dolphins and whales.

Can’t go wrong with JWM🫶🏼🫶🏼 Such an extraordinary stay with top service and great overall experience from the room to the staff to the restaurants.. oh and the beach!!!😍 Highly recommend to stay if you’re looking for a nice location with a beautiful beach and sunset. The rooms are spacious, and would highly recommend to get one with a beach view, can’t miss! All the staff are really kind and considerate.. words cannot describe but you will definitely enjoy every aspect of your stay here.

Fantastic and idyllic location with breathtaking views across the ocean. Enjoyed the complimentary watersports especially the kayaking! Some staff members went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable: Hema, Chef Sanjay, Baba, Lucinda and our butler Garry. Chef Sanjay prepared a delicious dinner. Wonderful library, games rooms and very comfy seats in the cinema. The indoor activities are definitely required as it does rain intermittently.

The hotel is an amazing part of the island but needs a renovation. Some staff are quite grumpy especially the check-in and check out staff. They did not create a warm welcome nor a friendly departure and need training. Some of the "buggy drivers" were also very moody. The restaurants are also overpriced and could do with a revamping of their menus.

The hotel is in an amazing location. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Neha welcomed us with a big smile and made sure things were to our satisfaction. The food in the restaurants was delicious and the staff is very nice especially Haniket, Jesika and Bria.

The room was amazing, as advertised. Breakfast buffet was exceptional, wifi was very fast everywhere in the resort, even the beach. The beach was really great, and all the hotel staff was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Special thanks to Thierry and Nass who made our stay even more wonderful, and to Matai from Le Morne Lounge, Avish from the Boathouse Restaurant and Aniket from the Floating Market who were amazingly kind, professional, and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay great. Overall, probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in, both accommodation-wise and service-wise.

The JW Marriott Resort offers the best of Mauritius, with the magnificent Le Morne Brabant mountain on one side and serene beach on the other side. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We were treated with the tastiest of mocktails, coffee, gourmet chocolates and desserts at welcome/in the room. Our room was luxurious, offering a great view of the sea and direct access to the resort's private beach. The butler and concierge service provided by the resort was exceptional making our stay easy and comfortable. Having a delicious breakfast at the beach front restaurant was delightful. One of the best part of our stay were the complimentary activities provided by the resort which included snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddle, wind surfing etc. as well as yoga and meditation.

Despite a prepaid booking, the check-in/check-out could have been smoother as it took more time than I expected.

Just fantastic. The management and staff throughout were brilliant and very professional. I cannot fault a single thing.
