the pool and view are not to be missed! it’s an exceptional space and felt very safe as a solo traveller.

the driveway up to the property has loose gravel and I took a tumble the first day - just be careful! they do warn you about the accessibility to the property ahead of arrival, it can be tricky but very, very worth it.

We liked everything. There were 10 of us and the accommodations fit us perfectly. We spent a lot of time the pool area. It was amazing with the views. The grounds staff worked endlessly to keep the ground in great shape. We arranged to have a dinner cooked for us through the hotel. It was my favorite dinner. Flor helped us with everything along with the rest of the staff. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

The only draw back was the hill and driveway. Very steep. I asked ahead of time and was told a 4 heel drive was needed. We listened and were glad we did.

Amazing view from the pool and terrasse with a very chilled vibe and low noise levels. Fresh drinks and free fruits available all day. Very clean room with fully equipped kitchenette. Staff super helpful and friendly. Some restaurants in close proximity accessible via little hidden trails so you do not have to go down the hill :) (The access road is quite steep)

Casa Marbella is an amazing place to stay! Not only are the rooms comfortable with an amazing view, but the owners are super kind and helpful. We had an issue with our rental car, and the owners and receptionist went out of their way to help us out. We stayed in a suite with two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. Since we were traveling with two kids including a baby, it was so nice to be able to put the baby down sleep, but still be able to use the kitchen, balcony, or hang out on the porch right out front. This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa!

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Marbella, amazing view from the pool and from the balcony, property is super clean and very well maintained, the owners are super friendly and receptionists are helpful. Bed was very comfortable. The place is conveniently located in close proximity to restaurants, beach and supermarket. The only thing to consider is that the property is on a steep hill and the walk might not be for everyone. However we enjoyed the view so much that the short walk uphill didn’t bother us at all.

Location (right in the center of santa teresa), the size of the villa (really big and beautiful inside). All coram and with a kitchen fully equiped.

this is an impossíble place to go with a group of friends. At 5pm you could not make any kind of noise… and i am not saying we were loudly. You had a bar in the pool but you could not drink in a pool. Its a nice place only if you want a really quiet place.

We loved this accommodation. Two women traveling Costa Rica. We chose our 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette, so we had our privacy. Best beds ever on a holiday I think :-). All the staff was amazing. We had car trouble and Andre went beyond to help us out exchanging the car. The property is very clean, quiet and has lovely views. We did yoga on the deck in the morning. I cannot find one fault in this accommodation. Perk is the 'secret key' you get to have drinks and dinner at the next door restaurant which you access through a gate. I think it's a great solution for a hotel which doesn't have its own bar/restaurant. There is a honesty bar however. We highly recommend staying here when you are in Santa Teresa.

Beautiful hilltop hotel overlooking the sea with a great view. The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful with recommendations of activities and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and we slept great.

The room we had was a bit noisy, located next to the reception (book the kitchenette room to avoid this issue) however it's only an issue during day time, at night it's very peaceful.

Amazing view! Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of town. Peaceful and tranquil. A must stay for the perfect getaway spot. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel at home! The best hotel I have ever stayed at!

Absolutely incredible stay! Some amazing things: THE VIEW, the room was incredibly clean, the staff helped us book surfing, horseback riding, and ATV rental all in one day! The pool was incredible, the staff was available nearly 24/7 (and via WhatsApp), and constant cleaning of the rooms (not linens unless you ask). The howling monkeys in the morning were SICK, the coffee in the morning was amazing, water pressure and heat was great, and the front desk... AMAZING. Great location in between Montezuma (30 minutes by ATV), Playa Hermosa (20 minutes by drive). Local sodas were amazing!!! :D

this is by far the best value for money accommodation in costa rica that we have come across and there are a couple of gorgeous restaurants just next door. the owners are beautiful people, the apartment we rented had spectacular views of the pacific, (apartment 7) it was modern and clean and very funtional. the villa is surrounded by abundant wildlife. really, for what you pay for here in costa rica and what you get for your money, this is excellent value for money.

nothing not to love about villa marbella. the beach is absolutely beautiful but there is a LOT of plastic on it possibly to do with the season, and the main road is pretty grubby.
