Spacious apartment with extraordinary view (if you stay on the top floors)!

We (three people) stayed in unit 47 (15th floor); the view was amazing! The apartment was spacious and well-kept, and the experience exceeded our expectations. You're facing the ocean and hearing the waves all day. Good kitchenware, washer, dryer, and washing machine. The beds were comfortable but a bit too soft for my taste (personal preference). We rented a car and had access to a dedicated spot in the garage underneath the building. Burleigh Heads is a great location, and we loved our visit to Gold Coast. We didn't want our days to end, and we would easily go back and stay Cashelmara again. It's the type of apartment we could see ourselves moving into and living there.

We stayed for five nights, and we had to buy some basic things that we wished were already provided (e.g., salt, garbage bags, detergent, toilet paper, paper towel). The rubbish bins had bags on them, but no extra ones. There was no seasoning at all, so we had to buy salt and a few other things to season the food we got from the market. There were two small sponges to do the dishes but no detergent. There were two dishwasher tablets and two single-use soap bags for the washer (clothes). There were three toilet paper rolls in total (one in each bathroom and an extra one). Those are all minor things that didn't bother us much, but the experience would be even better if we didn't have to think about them.

Stay was good and we would return however we would prefer a different apartment.

The location and general facilities were great

The cleanliness of the bathrooms needed more attention, within the apartment it needs some maintenance especially at the back of the bedroom aircon as the stud wall was separating. With not having ceiling fans or aircons in all rooms they did have free standing fans however these need some attention to allow them to placed in a fixed position and not just facing the ground.

Superb location, clean and tidy, view is absolutely stunning

Perfect location- cannot beat that view on floor 16!!! Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds

After a bad start to our holiday it was ok

Close to the beach and Burleigh shops and restaurants

The first apartment we were given had no air conditioning. Fortunately the Manager moved us to another apartment with aircon. The apartments are a bit old and tired. Needs to be upgraded.

Overall our stay was average,except for the smell.

Location to the beach and our room had a view.

The room had a mildew smell almost like the carpet he’d been wet from some sort of flood, the bed head needed a good cleaning there was dust on top , and one other thing the shower had no where to put shampoo and soap , it’s a bit unhygienic to put the soap on the floor.

Very relaxing.

The view was excellent, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, The rooms were spacious even though there was building works going on we were told we in advance that this was happening and received a discount and a meal voucher, the works didnt effect our stay at all.

I would have liked shutters on the bedroom windows as its very light in the mornings and we seemed to be awake at 5.30am. But thats just a small thing and I would love to stay again.

Would stay again

Great location. Had all the basics.

Couch not so comfy. Disappointed couldn’t use pool at all ( work being done on upper level.). When booked told could use after 4 daily and weekends. Body corp changed this and said only weekend. Staff very helpful pointing out other alternatives.

We had a great weekend

The view was amazing, the apartment was comfortable and spacious and had everything you need. Clean and well put together. The apartment is within walking distance to Coles and Restaurants.

The undercover carpark was tight to get in and out of with a 4WD.

Comfortable and in a great spot but in need of renovation.

Spacious apartment with great view, comfortable beds, very well-equipped kitchen and good wifi. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Desperately in need of new carpet and updating - price should have reflected this- also the fact guests are expected to tidy up and turn on the dishwasher before leaving. Reception staffed only 9am-2pm though checkin is after 2pm.

Holidaying with 3 Grandkids. Was excellent for family holidays.

Great spot if not being renovated

Rooms were very clean, well equipped and spacious. View from balcony was good and the location excellent.

Unfortunately the building was undergoing renovations and consequently there was a lot of noise so an afternoon nap was impossible. The bbq and tennis court were off limits and we had to enter and exit the the building via the underground carpark. We understand these things but believe we should have been informed.The value for money would have been ok if all facilities were available but we felt we paid for everything but got far less

A short but enjoyable stay.

Location, view, handy to shops.

Lamps were hard to turn on in the lounge room. I feel if you want us to put the dishwasher on b4 we leave you should provide tablets. The light in dining room light flicked when turned low by dimmer.

We are family of four had a great time.

Stunning views from our floor. Close to the beach and a lovely saltwater pool. The location was perfect for visiting everything. There are lots of other facilities on the property which we did not use but are nice to have.

The bathroom needs little care.

Beautiful location and views, excellent communication from staff.

located right on the beach front, great facilities, and comfortable, homely apartments. A portacot and highchair was provided for our baby at an additional cost which saved us from having to bring them in luggage. Parking was provided which was necessary as it is a busy street. Perfect location for swimming, nice walks and playgrounds, and a short walk from restaurants, shops and pubs.

There wasn't enough dishwashing liquid, bin bags or toilet paper. Additional sachets were provided only when we asked for them. This is the only thing that could be improved - providing some key items to make the stay more comfortable, but this was a minor issue in the context of a fantastic holiday.

Fabulous location , well maintained , spacious and very comfortable place to stay . A relaxing holiday !

The amenities were great , kitchen set up awesome , with great array of appliances and utensils etc for use , which made self catering east.

The lack of adequate supplies to accomodate a family of four for a 10 day holiday . I had to request additional bin liners ( only the 1 in the bin ), dishwashing detergent , dishwasher sachets etc . I really dont understand why a bottle of dishwashing detergent , dishwasher tablets , and bin liners are not provided based on length of stay. When I asked for additional bin liners I was initially advised that the units are self catering !. I’ve never had to buy bin liners or May of the supplies I requested on any other holiday !
