Unique experience with nice jazz music and a great place to make friends while in Niseko.

Nioki's service was amazing! Very helpful for planning our day. Loved the constant jazz music that played in the common room - the music played all day. The breakfast was simple but delicious! Location was only a few hundred metres from the nearest ski lift. The Halfnote bar downstairs was always pumping and lively, lots of scheduled activities to fill the evenings with.

Men's showers could do with another drain installed as there was one drain between three shower cubicles, so occasionally it would start to pool if it clogged. The bar downstairs played music loud until 11pm so if you need an early night it may be difficult to sleep until it's finished downstairs - (or just join in?).

This property is a great location, very friendly on-site manager, and wonderful hot breakfasts.

The location was excellent with a short walk into town and to the lifts. The red line shuttle stop was right outside the building. There is a convenient store at the top of the street. The hot breakfasts were tasty and we enjoyed the hot coffee throughout the day in the lobby. Nyokki-san was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to stay at this property again.

Great big size of the common room that was very welcoming to use. Daily cooked breakfast was tasty and convenient. All staff members were lovely and welcoming. The mountain shuttle bus stopped right outside the accomodation and hotel was within walking distant to the other bus stops at the top of the hill. Shuttle to and from the Welcome Centre bus stop was appreciated and made transferring to the accomodation easy and stress free.

The stairs leading downstairs to the bathrooms were very steep however we managed. Some nights the music from the bar attached to the property was very loud and heavy base due to the building being made of timber. We found the pillows uncomfortable. The rooms kerosene heater had a very potent smell however staff provided us with an oil heater promptly when brought to their attention.

Home in Niseko

Everything! Simply! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff; Yu-san and Nyokki-san made us feel a part of the family so that we always felt it’s somewhere to go back to. Delicious breakfast, log fire and Apple TV - winter vacation dream!

Exceptional

Yu-san and Nyokii-san made the stay so comfortable! They offered the guests excursions such as night skiing as a group and a trip to a local onsen, going above and beyond. The facilities were so comfortable and cozy, and breakfast was tasty and filling every morning.
