Epic! One for the books.

My friends and I were in such an awwww! The hotel is beautiful , super clean and well maintained, great vibe! The pool was our place to hang up after going for walks exploring the city. The location is very centric. The hotel is 3 blocks away from “La Calzada” where the night life starts at 10 pm to whatever time you leave!

Amazing. Relaxing. Nica flair

Pristine facility. Great location. Food is delicious and the staff was amazing. Planes were delayed for 12 hrs and the front desk staff was super flexible. They also arranged our airport picked up for much better price.

Disappointed that my complaint received only casual interest.

Comfortable seat inside room.

You need signal boosters for Wi-Fi in the rooms. Yours is the poorest service in my Nicaragua experiences. I lived here for 6 years. Mattresses and pillows were disappointing. I can find much better for much less money.

my stay was excellent!

The hotel maintains its originsl colonial design. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

I wish the restaurant would stay open longer.

Beautiful property! Meticulously maintained and the bedrooms are large. Breakfast was delicious everyday.

Very poor

The staff charged a HUGE amount of money to my credit card in (cordobas instead of dollars!!) and still have not fixed the mistake. They told me I would get a full refund but I have not received my money back!! Dreadful communication. I can’t use my credit card!! No real apology. It has been very poorly handled for such a massive mistake.

We love everything about this hotel. This was our 2nd consecutive year staying here and we will coming back. The hotel and view from the rooms are beautiful. My baby got sick on the 1st day and everyone was super nice and attentive , they helped us and ask me everyday how was the baby, that was super sweet. The food OMG the foodddd 😍😍😍😍 the breakfast pancakes 🥞 are yumilicius and the Churrasco my favorite dish from the entire country. There isn't anything bad that I could think of about the Merced. We love it. ❤️

I think I would try somewhere else next time.

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the place was in bad need of maintenance including the AC. Maintenance was quick to “fix” the AC but it was never in good working order.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water. Great a/c and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast was definitely a full breakfast and the staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. There is also a little coffee shop attached that was very nice. We will definitely be back.

If you need "fresh air" at night to sleep be sure to book a room that has a window or balcony as our room did not. Also if you are looking to sleep in in the morning.... not sure on the weekends but the church bell goes off pretty early on Monday morning so expect to get woke up (you might love this or hate it depending).

I am still there. This hotel has made me be so welcomed. I have the most praise to say about it.

This is a great hotel with a lot of charm and is a wonderful place. The location is absolutely good. But the real value is the people who a caring; good and honest. My room was on the second floor but I have some trouble walking. As soon as they noticed it the management offered me a better room on the first floor. I was getting my laundry done and one member of the staff noticed I left money in my pants. The very honest staff returned it to me fully. I had to go to get my ear examined and the manager: got me an exceptional doctor; personally accompanied me to help translate and gave me a ride. This and amazingly perfect help.

beautiful old exquisite home turned into hotel. place has a lot of history surrounding its marble staircase.

maintenance workers were working above the pool on a sunny weekend morning. should be more precautions for falling debris and better timing.

nice accommodations but…

nice place

I changed my reservation well in advance to a shorter stay yet they charged me the full amount and did not want to credit back the difference. still fighting to get my credit back over a week later. disappointed because I’ve stayed here before and never had an issue
