Location + View was amazing. Room was immaculate on arrival. Proximity to town was a great benefit

$200 bond after paying on arrival was a little annoying considering we weren’t informed prior to our stay. Due to current Queenstown Boil Water notice would have liked a supply of potable water. Staff were not present on check out despite it being 20 minutes into operating hours. Parts of one of the curtains were broken which let the late sunset in when we tried to go to sleep.

We had a studio with small kitchen and laundry facilities and these were excellent. Good size in general and comfy bed.

The room was too hot with no windows to open. We had to turn off aircon and even put it on cooling at times. The hill climb was not great for an older couple.

it’s is not a short down hill walk into Queenstown. which means it’s quite a steep walk back at the end of the day or after dinner.

Great location - easy walk to town - there is a track down the bottom of the hill so make sure you find this and don't wander the long way along the streets. Very well appointed and quiet rooms. Gym had good machines. Staff very helpful - I forgot my charger plug and they found one to loan me.

The rooms don't have balconies, and I do prefer to be able to sit outside. Also there was a big beam across my window and there was a view of lake but not the best view.

the fertility is terrible one of the the air conditions has issues! We booked two rooms (222,and 221), the air conditioning in 222 was nice and good, but the air conditioning in 221 was terrible. For some reason, whenever the AC is on, it doesn't restart every thirty minutes, and that makes a lot of noise! I barely slept last night and have been recording videos of the air conditioning. My parents don't have this problem at all in 222, whereas in the four days I've been in 221, it happened the next day and last night. I recorded a few videos for this at 1:30 am and 3am last night and I hope you can give me a reasonable explanation! if any of you want to choose Ramada, DO NOT LIVE IN ROOM 221!!!!!! I don’t know about other rooms, but room 222 is ok.

cafe / bar didn’t open and the front desk had minimal staff throughout the day meaning it was hard to speak to anyone. We did have an issue where we had a huge leak in our room on our last night caused by other guests staying above. This meant we had to change rooms which was managed very smoothly but still an in inconvenience to us having to pack up all our belongings and move after 3 nights. Hotel staff could have done more I believe to apologise for the issue.
