The owner, Raj, greeted me as soon as I pulled up to the property and from that point forward did everything he could to make my stay pleasant. There is a lovely manzanita and sugar pine grove where I faced the majestic mountains to do my morning yoga. That was followed by a quick swim in the well-maintained olympic sized pool overlooking the property.

Some might be put off by the sparsely furnished cabins which I easily overlooked. The owner was welcome to my feedback about the amenities, including the mattress which was a little on the hard side. As he is the new owner, upgrading furnishings is a stated priority of his. I wouldn't be surprised to see improvements when I return.
