loved it, no regrets

awesome place, super friendly staff. great food. walking distance to a million different shops and bars. room was clean. tv had streaming services. perfect

would have preferred a different room than one on the bottom floor for more privacy. you can see into the bottom floor rooms from the water if the lighting is right. but it was super convenient going to and from the room to the beach so it’s not a huge complaint.

Your dream beach vacation awaits.

Loved the privacy and view from the deck in room 6. Spent lots of time there playing games with friends and viewing the incredible bay and activities going on. Perfect location to enjoy West End and all it has to offer. Competent dive shop right next door. Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms with responsive staff. Daily room cleaning. 2 lobsters, urchins, butterfly fish living under the pier between the posts at the left rear corner. Great snorkeling steps away along the coast by Ginger's. Easy pick ups for most excursions right in front of or behind the hotel. A short walk in the morning to Bad Ass Java for great coffee that will satisfy your craving. Water taxi to West Bay for $5 per person. So convenient. Love this place!

Superb

Spacious room with lovely balcony and bay views. Modern bathrooms. Proximity to West End restaurants, nightlife and markets.

The hotel only provided 1 jug of water and 1 days supply of coffee for our entire stay. That seemed a little cheap for a luxury boutique hotel.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful boutique hotel. Would return in a heartbeat!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and responsive. It felt as if there was nothing they would not try to accommodate for their guests. The hotel's decor is absolutely lovely with a beautiful open air lobby. Every room has a sea view. The food in the restaurant was usually good, especially breakfast. They use high quality bath products and linens which further contributed to an enjoyable stay. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants and bars if you want to venture off property.

This is not a specific issue with this hotel but hotels in general, bigger robes to accommodate taller/larger sized guests would be nice to have. Additionally, making beach umbrellas available to guests would be great.

Incredible place to stay, best hotel on the beach.

First and foremost, we loved the view! It is simply breathtaking. The restaurant had great food and drinks, waitstaff friendly and attentive as well. Great sized room (suite), wonderful decor. I love this place.

Only thing that could have been better was softer bed. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Nice stay on Half Moon Bay

This is a beautiful hotel with oceanfront access to Half Moon Bay. The staff is friendly and attentive

The one thing that hurts this gem is the public beach access and the loud club with music until the early morning hours. Very loud.

A beautiful beach hotel in West End

New and modern design, right on the beach, bed and bedsheets are comfortable, the day bed is a bonus, a big smart TV and we can cast from our phones. Walk-in shower is nicely designed w/ water drained fast. I have seen water not drained well in many walk-in shower in many other (even high-end) hotels. A patio you can sit and drink your coffee/wine and watch the ocean and sunset. Very close to the dive shop we used, walking distance to everywhere in West End. Airport pickup/drop off and COVID tests are also arranged very smoothly.

The shower hot water sometimes comes slow in the morning, but not a big deal. It will be great to have coffee available daily for free, not just for the 1st day. No breakfast option.

Terrific.

Location is fantastic generally. Great views of sunsets and boats in Half Moon Bay. Staff at front desk is present to help. Staff in restaurant is super nice. Room was clean and big and well decorated, finished and furnished. Hotel is really well-furnished and decorated.

There is some noise, particularly coming from a new (possibly temporary) club above the Coral Tree dive shop and which plays music until midnight or 2 am (not sure, it was late and I was trying to sleep). Not a huge problem for me. Sundowner's is adjacent on the other side, but their music stopped at or before 10 pm as I recall. The hotel is close to everything, and so maybe a little noise is to be expected.

It is worth every cent. The place is very relaxing and balances a great atmosphere and privacy.

The hotel staff is excelent, the food was very good, the room is very spacious and comfortable. Yhe bed and pillows were soft and the decorations very detailed. Loved just walking down the stairs and could go to the street and walking distance of a over dozen places to eat or shop just as easy as walking down the stairs and jumping in the beach.

I had to come back to reality.

Beautiful but mediocre staff

Amazing location and beautiful facilities.

The staff needs to work on their customer service. For a boutique hotel, the service was subpar and staff weren’t very friendly. Whenever we asked for concierge services, they acted like it was a chore. Also we had to ask multiple times for clean linens and towels. There is a big conservation movement on the island so I understood trying to be smart with resources, but after a week at the beach, things get sandy and dirty. To be short, we had 1 star service in a 4-star environment.

Beautiful weather and nice place to be if you’re okay with noise. This is not a relaxing location.

The hotel is pretty, the balcony from the room and security on premise was nice. Decent snorkeling from the hotel beach into half moon bay.

The dock needs repair, a little expensive for what it is, the area is very noisy as it is along a very busy street.

Pint could be touched up in room and a few areas around hotel. Dock bar wasn’t open during our stay.

Perfect location on the bay made my stay memorable.

Perfect location on half moon bay. Close to diving shops and restaurants. Dining terrace overlooking the bay. Sunset viewing from terrace. All staff were courteous and helpful.

Bed was a bit hard for my liking but still OK.

Great hotel, great location, would definitely recommend it.

Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were delicious, the room was wonderful with a fantastic view, and the location couldn't be better.

Though a nice concept, I didn't love the outdoor shower. Not a problem, just didn't prefer it to a regular shower.

The perfect house on the beach!

It is the perfect location to enjoy West End and use it as a hub to explore the rest of the Island, and the best patch of beach this side of the Island. Their pier is also beautiful! The place is beautifully decorated, charming, comfortable, clean, etc. The staff were all incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The water taxi docks need a little TLC after the storm season damage.

Exceptional

Absolutely gorgeous, modern and renovated beach house, super clean and with wonderful views on the sea. Very convenient location, right next to dive shop Sun Diver - highly recommend - I did my PADI with them whilst staying at the Beach House. I loved everything about the property, staff was awesome and helpful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Roatan and I’ve walked around and view other properties. I had Deluxe King Suite and it had a kitchenette with full size fridge. Gallon of water was provided free of charge every day. It was truly perfect holiday beach house. Bed was very comfy, I had the best sleep. They have their private dock with sun lounges and a bar.
