Perfect location

private but friendly

we arrived when it was dark and the next morning we woke to an amazing sunrise over the beach we were front and centre for the view from our deck, the pool was a couple of steps away and was lovely and refreshing i had several dips a day in there, Harry was so lovely as well if you needed anything he was on hand, our Villa was well equipped amd comfortable, if you are looking for somewhere quite there are only 5 Villas on sight so no crowds excellent location.

There are things that you might like to know however this does not take away the absolute perfect time we had, Cockrals and barking dogs wake you at sunrise, they are everywhere on the island and the shower and TV were on island time, the shower took a little practice to regulate the temperature and the TV relies on the internet which is patchy, we didnt really use this much but watched a couple of movies at night.

This place is absolute paradise! I loved how the beach huts had the island feel to them. The view from our doorstep was just magical in the beachfront villa as well as the surrounding areas of the Hideaway. Everything was within a few minutes walking distance with the best breakfast at cafe Deli-licious. This place offers everything you need for a beautiful relaxing stay in Muri and I hope to return here in the future. Thank you Harry for making our stay in Rarotonga the best experience for my 1st time traveling and being so very helpful (especially when I got sunburnt). The staff here are just absolutely lovely and I'm glad we chose to stay with you :)

Quite room at the back perfect for us, easy to get to the beach and shops.

There were no draws for small clothing items, but still not a problem

We had a lovely two week stay at MBH. The room exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the setup of the verandah/decking area where we sat most days (even during a few rainy days). We also appreciated the servicing of the room each day.

Dogs barking during the night but it was something we expected as part of island life and the dogs were super charming during the daytime :)

Location, overall facilities were great.

Unfortunately no fault of there own was the barking and roosters.

no air con, coffee undrinkable, lizards inside, fridge freezer did not freeze (no ice) shower took 7 minutes to change temp when moving temp control.,

Great location, right on the beach. Really close to retail, bars and cafes. Good room, large in size, with a well appointed kitchen, big bed and a great deck to relax on. Pool right outside door.

Nothing really. Some may struggle given there is no A/C, but overall that was not a problem.

Room was well set up. Clean and tidy. Great pool. Awesome host. Everything was 10 out of 10

That i couldnt stay longer

The location was perfect, walking distance to everything we needed. The rooms are spacious, tidy and comfortable. The view is spectacular, and it was so perfect having a pool. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back again, never disappoints!

Nothing, it was all perfect for our kid-free vacation.

Small friendly resort with nice clean rooms in a great location.

Awesome villas right on muri Beach, short stroll up the beach either direction to some really nice dining options , the muri night markets and a dairy/superette . The pool was really lovely and we spent a lot of time floating around with a drink or 2. Harry was a great host, left us to it but was always reachable if we needed anything. Can't wait to return!

Not a dislike but a suggestion, maybe a cantilevered umbrella to put a bit of shade on a section of the pool would be a good addition

Beautiful property in a premium location. The room was comfy and private and had all we needed for a great stay. The beach was right on our doorstep and local market and shops just a short walk away. Would highly recommend and will stay here again.

Everything was good, was comfortable, could have had a couch, may have been good, but it wasn’t a 5 star, so it was as expected,and actually, better than I had expected Loved the garden, and all the bromeliads, and the little tour around the garden which was a bonus. Loved the fact that it was owned by a Rarotonga family, and the young lady who ran it, took over from her grandmother, (They were her bromeliads, originally) The pool had some amazing mosaic tiles. Nice vibe, quiet, and friendly. Would go there again. Kitchen was great, good size, big fridge and freezer, fridge had large fruit juice and large milk, on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffe, etc. also a large bowl of tropical fruits, which I later found out were all grown on the property, in there lovely gardens. 24hr superette 100m away, and a fantastic bakery just across the road, night markets, we’re just a small walk away. And of course just a few steps from the beach.

The manager was out when we arrived, she left a note, with instructions about the key, for us, but we never saw it, after.a While we rang her cell, and she gave us instructions on how to open a pin entry lockbox for the key to get in. It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so it was a stressful arrival, but after that every thing was great. There was generous amount of fruit, fruit juice, and milk, tea and coffe so we were very happy, very quickly.

Clean..proximity to beach ..quiet ( apart from roosters and dogs. Close to cafes and night market

Dogs and roosters waking you up in the night but you cant really do anything to change that as they free roam all over the island 😊
