Great, relaxing hotel!

A great base to explore Chiang Mai, lovely staff and facilities.

The staff were very helpful. The free water, coffee and snacks were a bonus!

It was a bit tight for space for breakfast and around the pool area.

Exceptional

Outstanding hotel ideal for relaxing. The staff are always attentive and ready to help. Couldn't have had a better experience, breakfast is good and you can have all the coffee you want at any time. It's just all very comfortable and chilled out Definitely recommend it to everyone, to conclude this review the cherry on top of the cake is the fact you have breakfast right next to the swimming pool.

Extremely comfortable, convenient and friendly.

This hotel is very well run by a young team of staff led by Por and Molly. They were all very friendly and extremely obliging and helpful. We stayed for a month and we miss being there. What we most liked about this hotel and will ensure we return was the can-do attitude of the staff and the comfort of the room. Being able to launder our clothes for free was a bonus. The location was perfect for our needs and in fact is convenient for everyone who wants to visit the old town and the markets. The pool was a fantastic relief on the extremely hot days in April and May. Breakfast food was almost 10/10 (see below), and we especially appreciated the skill of the chefs in making interesting snacks and providing them and coffee and water throughout the day. Congrats to the team.

The following would have made the hotel even better: a little variation of fruit at breakfast (breakfast was excellent though.) variation in the music might've been good too - but we think it was intended for younger guests! a second chair for the balcony quicker cleaning of the pool if/when items such as tissues, etc fell in (it's location was next to the eating area) a cupboard in the room for underwear, etc more solid bedside tables with drawers

We found there wasn't a lot around, walking distance. Felt like we couldn't find much to do/see

Amazing stay in Chiang Mai

I liked location of the hotel, not far from the old town (10-15 min walk) and also close to the airport (10-15 min by taxi). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and very functional, thanks to the sink located in the room not in the bathroom.

Air conditioning - it was quite noisy and not very powerful.

Great location, beautiful people, amazing breakfast !

The hotel is awesome ! We didn’t get the room we booked but they helped us with transportation and we are back for another day, and we will get a better room. Staff is amazing ! Everyone is nice and gentle. Breakfast succeeded my expectations!!!! Best breakfast so far ! Croissants are made in the morning ! Everything is fresh and so good !

This is my favorite hotel for this trip, nice, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, nice pool, free laundry and free unlimited water. Everything convinced me to choose this one again once I’m back. BTW, location is really great.

POR Daowadung is truly an exceptional boutique hotel. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, super friendly but respectful. I also like that they are young, energetic and capable of mukti-tasking. Breakfast was superb and I appreciated having breakfast by the pool listening to the birds and sound of the water. Indeed a place away from home.
