Welcoming staff

Where it was, it was close to everything and the staff were really nice and helpful

The rooms are very small but has everything in there what I needed the price was great it’s worth it

Room was nice until the alarm went off and ruined my sleep, being locked in.

Room was small but had everything you needed for an overnight stay in the city.

There was an evacuation alarm around midnight and the section of the building I was in locked and I couldn’t get out. No explanation from staff what had happened, but it was a bit of a shocking situation as the alarm went off for a good half hour.

Great value for money hotel in excellent location.

Great location, carpet was dirty

The location is excellent because it's near the train station and the city core with all the good restaurants. The bed was super comfy and clean. The washroom is old but seemed clean. I liked that the room had an iron, kettle, tea treats and coffee as well as a little fridge. Staff was great.

My only complaint was the filthy carpet, it was really dirty and needed a vacuuming asap. It was full of what looked like crumbs or just people's dirties, I didn't feel like investigating.

Fantastic Location and Grear Value

Location and Value was great. Staff were fantastic, polite and helpful.

Bathrrom.and Shower. Bathroom Very small. Shower horrible its was either scolding hot or cold, could never get it to a happy medium temperature.

Not enough English breafast tea. Unfortunately the morning we left there was an ant infestation. They came from wall under the window. Luckily on the spare bed. Un fortunately some of our spare clothes on there. Not a nice experience. Disappointed no discount or reward given.

Good

The staff were really nice and helpful, including accommodating my early check-in request. The hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk from Southern Cross station and close to many restaurants and shops.

The coffee shop/restaurant in the hotel is closed, which wasn't mentioned on the booking website and was only brought up by the hotel after booking. The walls between the rooms are too thin and another guest was playing loud music thoughout the day. Luckily they had a good taste in music.

Well located, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money.

The booking I made through booking.com went very well, funds were paid over in time, on arrival at the hotel, the person on duty was actually waiting for me and my request to him to wake me up at 5 in the morning was done exactly on time, a very friendly and helpful attitude, well done!

I have zero complaints, my bed was comfortable and as I have just got off from the plane after a 13 hour flight, the hot shower and bed enabled me to rest properly, I woke up refreshed and it was within walking distance from the train station for my trip on the Overland Express the next day.

Disappointing

The location was decent. Friendly staff.

The room was very poorly cleaned - there was still hair on the bathroom walls, and leftover food (chicken bones, used serviettes etc) under the table in the room, presumably from previous guests.

Convenient location

Bathroom. Way too small. Shower was hard to get into, tight squeeze, especially for larger people. Room was tiny, dark, no sunlight
