Het restaurant is slecht. Voor- en hoofdgerecht werden gelijktijdig gebracht. We weigerden het hoofdgerecht. Dat werd later koud. Geserveerd. Toen we dit weer weigerden werd het opgewarmd. Echt buitengewoon slecht voor een dergelijk hotel

Everything was outstanding for our trip with an elderly relative - the team were ever so kind.

The room was very comfortable and the hotel secure which I appreciated.

The buffet breakfast had plenty of food to eat. The variety was also good. The rooms were beautifully presented and well maintained. Even though we had a room with the pool view we could see the ocean, which was fantastic.

I liked everything. There was nothing that I could pin point that I didn't like.

Food is good and the service is excellent

The Chef who cooked our breakfast each morning was exceptional. Very gracious and especially capable. In fact, the staff at all levels of responsibility were truly delightful.

A matter which we feel needs particular attention was the musty smell of the pillows. We were embarrassed to request a change of pillows on a number of occasions until we finally realised that this was a problem that we were not going to avoid. While they were comfortable, one could not escape the musty smell that was present no matter which pillows we used. It seemed to us that almost certainly this was the result of storage that did nothing to insulate these pillows from the influence of the very humid climate. We had fully intended to offer constructive feedback on the matter of pillows and your request for the review has allowed for this. Please refer these comments to the highest level of your oversight.

It is a colonial building. It has a lot of history about this hotel. Most of the time it has been used to accommodate some of the members of British Royal family. They have a lovely cafe at the front of hotel. They have medical centre and a beautiful Jewellery shop. ❤️

I think there should be a coffee place or platform upstairs to cater for guests who have their rooms downstairs would like to catch a glimpse of the parade across the road at Albert park. Just for guests only. As I was a guest downstairs we did ask the receptionist but we were told it was not allowed.

Customer service when I came to the hotel to checking the staff member that served me seemed rude and unfriendly no smile no greet I was amazed at that behavior of hers. She probably needs customer care training or in the wrong industry. Mostly we check in to a a friendly staff member but this was different its sad to see tourists coming from afar to spend holidays and the smile we expect turns out unfriendly

The facility and location is excellent and bar staff facilitated a nice family evening with nibbles and dinner by the pool with friends

I essentially had to pay for my stay twice and despite approval from my provider (booking.com) to refund the monies paid from the initial booking, the hotel refused. So I had already paid for 4 days (via booking.com) and had to pay for a new booking of 2 days only as the hotel refused to recognise the message from my booking provider. Circumstances changed and due to a family bereavement. I came one day earlier and had to cut my stay by 2 days but despite explaining this several times (as different staff kept on dealing with me and had to re-explain things!!), no solution was given by the hotel and I was charged again and the previous monies not refunded (if partially). Was just disappointed with the poor customer service. Really like the venue and would love to stay again as travel frequently to Suva from New Zealand....but having second thoughts due to this issue

Breakfast was just above average, hot food was lukewarm. Room was great - huge bathroom. Was able to get in before stated check-in time which was much appreciated. Gym was average. Room cleaning was excellent. All staff were friendly. Great balcony overlooking the road.

Breakfast at GPH was the best, so much variety, always hot 🔥, delicious food, great service served always with a smile.

The food at lunch and dinner was generally received warm not hot bit disappointing.

hands down favorite things; the large covered balcony, meals on the terrace were delicious and dinner in the Prince Albert Room was superb. all Staff members were exceptional, location was convenient and the room was well-appointed.

Everything here was really good. Breakfast was really very good.

Restaurant staff were very slow in taking our orders. We had to call them and wait 20mins for someone to take our order, even then a few of our orders were wrong.

I enjoyed the history and architecture of the hotel. The bakery products from the shop were very tasty

Not sure why there is a balcony area as part of our room which cannot be accessed.
