Die Casita Palmas war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen tollen Ausblick! Die offene Gemeinschaftsküche am Pool war gut ausgestattet und bot auch einen tollen Blick über den Dschungel bis zum Meer!
Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe unter Beachtung von Allergien von Joe und Keith zubereitet. Bei sehr frühem Aufbruch zu Touren bekamen wir Smoothies und Joes leckeres Banana bread!!!
Beide Manager waren mega nett, hilfsbereit bei der Planung und Buchung von Touren und hatten gute Restauranttipps! Schon vor der Anreise waren die beiden jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar und beantworteten alle meine Fragen ausführlich!!!

Joe and Keith run a truly wonderful set of casitas with a gorgeous pool and stunning views of the surrounding hillsides. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, especially with their recommendations on places to eat and day trips to take. The Sierpe mangrove tour they pointed us to was a highlight of our stay - but you could also just sit and enjoy the views surrounded by toucans (7 in the tree next to our casita at one point!)

Die beiden Gastgeber lesen dem Gast förmlich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Im Bungalow standen hervorragender Kaffee zum selber zubereiten und ein riesengroßer Ananas bereit. Der Blick von der Terrasse über den Regenwald bis zum pazifischen Ozean war spektakulär. Das leckere Frühstück wurde vor den Augen der Gäste mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der tolle Pool lud jeden Tag zu einer Abkühlung ein. Die im Vorfeld mehrfach kommunizierte Empfehlung, mit einem Allradfahrzeug anzureisen, sollte man Ernst nehmen.

We can honestly stay that we loved everything at Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel, our stay there was perfect.
To start with Keith and Joe were very responsive and they helped up book a whale tour in Uvita.
The explanation to arrive by car at the hotel was very clear and we made it without any problems but you need a 4 wheel drive.
Joe welcomed us and showed us to our little ‘casita’ which was beautiful, built above the canopy with a breathtaking view. We had a very comfortable bed, great bathroom, little kitchen area and a separate toilet (nice touch!) and a gorgeous balcony with rocking chairs and a hammock, so relaxing!
A short walk and there was the pool area with another stunner of a view and a communal kitchen where we could cook our dinner (or order in) and chat with other guests (we made friends).
At 7.30 everybody would have an excellent breakfast cooked by Joe. That breakfast was so good and kept up going all day!
Keith and Joe are so lovely and friendly, you can tell they truly care - Thank you!

This property is so beautiful. The view from our casita was phenomenal and is very secluded. We saw a ton of wild life from our balcony including toucans, a whiteface monkey and tons of other birds. The hosts are amazing and will make you feel so special.

Nature's Edge is an absolutely magical place to stay, and Keith and Joe (and Louie) are the very best hosts you could ever hope for. We had a long day of travel that included a red eye flight, a long layover, a delayed bag upon arrival in San Jose and a long drive in the rain from the airport. We were completely exhausted and starving when we arrived to Nature's Edge late, after dark. Joe greeted us immediately and told us, "Everything is about to get a lot better." And it did. He brought us delicious "leftovers" of grilled salmon and salad and a bottle of cold water from their home and told us to get some rest. The next day, Keith and Joe communicated with the airport delivery driver and helped coordinate the safe delivery of my bag.
Every morning, Joe made us a wonderful breakfast, and if we had an early morning excursion, he brought us homemade banana bread and smoothies to our door before we left. Every detail was taken care of and Keith and Joe always went the extra mile and made sure our stay was perfect. We had our hearts set on an excursion to Corcovado National Park and Keith seamlessly made it happen and found us an amazing local guide weeks in advance of our arrival via email. They are just lovely humans and we really enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast and getting to know them. Louie is their resident pup and he will steal your heart.
Our casita (Aracari) was beautiful and the stunning views from the balcony cannot be beat. We would wake up a little early to watch toucans, aracaris, and tons of other colorful birds playing in the trees just outside our window. We saw monkeys one afternoon as well. I could (and did) spend hours in the hammock just taking it all in and soaking up the dreamy scenery. We travel quite a bit and this is easily one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Don't hesitate, just book it! Thank you, Keith and Joe from the bottom of our hearts! We will be back!

The most comfortable bed on our entire Costa Rican vacation!! Joe and Keith went out of their way to make us and all of the guests feel welcome. Joe's breakfast was amazing and Keith gave us fantastic advice on where to eat and what to see. We would absolutely stay here again!

The location of Nature's Edge, overlooking a beautiful tropical valley, the sea and the Osa peninsula, is so great that any place there would be special, but what Joe and Keith have created here can only be described as perfect ❤❤❤
We stayed in Aracari casita. The rooms are beautifully designed in every way for relaxation from the huge comfy bed, shower with jungle view, great little kitchenette for snacks and drinks, including a top quality coffee machine! And the natural air con really works. Again, it is all about brilliant design and getting things just right.
And then you go onto the balcony..!
The whole width of the room, with a hammock and 2 rocking chairs and a small washing line. But most importantly the most amazing view we've ever had.
We spent a lot of time just enjoying our view, and were lucky enough to see howler monkeys, toucans, aracari, scarlet macaus a coati and lots more.
The pool area was exquisite, another fantastic view, top quality loungers and chairs and the salt water (natural chlorine) pool was lovely.
The shared kitchen dining area had everything you needed for self catering. Not that you need to eat much after the amazing breakfast Joe and Keith serve every day.
And they get all the details spot on. Great info before you arrive and throughout the property, binoculars and other essentials to borrow if you don't have your own, beautiful lighting at night, brilliant wi fi throughout.
Joe and Keith (and Louie!) create a lovely atmosphere, with a really friendly shared breakfast but as much privacy as you want. They always had time to answer our questions on everything from what to do, where to eat, to the local weather and wildlife, to the right way to make pina coladas!
We wish we'd booked longer and would go back there in a second! It somehow manages to feel like the height of luxury but also feeling like home!

Keith and Joe are the most helpful owners I’ve ever met. You feel welcomed from the start, with nice little touches and attention to detail everywhere.
The villas are amazing, the view and the silence at night in the middle of the jungle a big plus.
Breakfast is so good you’d like to have it twice a day!!
Extremely recommended to everyone who is looking for a nice quiet place near Uvita, and likes to feel treated like at home.
The 10 minutes trip from Uvita with the 4x4 also a big plus!!

Like waking up in a postcard! Absolutely gorgeous location, and Keith and Joe were amazing. Great breakfast everyday, and wonderful recommendations for tours, vistas, and restaurants around the area. Toucans, hummingbirds, and monkeys at your fingertips. Wonderful experience!

We loved our stay at natures edge. We stayed 4 nights and spent a lot of that time at the property because the setting is stunning and it was so relaxing being by the pool. there’s a full kitchen & bbq so we made dinner on 2 of the nights. Keith & Joe are brilliant hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. highly recommend and if we ever go back to Costa Rica we would definitely stay here again!

One of our all around favorite places we stayed at in Costa Rica. Keith & Joe were exceptional hosts and the property was even better than we were expecting. Our room with mountain view was perfect. Glad we had rented a 4x4 so we were able to stay here. Perfect place to stay while visiting locations, but amazing just to relax and enjoy the view all day as well.

One of the best hotels we stayed in while in Costa Rica!
I don’t know where to start when it comes to describing how amazing our hosts, Keith and Joe, were throughout our stay with them.
Incredibly warm, personable and helpful providing tips on the most delicious local restaurants and the best tours to do in the area.
Joe personally prepared breakfast for the guests and I can honestly say it was the best we had while in the country even when staying at 4/5* hotels.
The views from the property are incredible and amenities fantastic.
Keith and Joe have thought of every detail in order to ensure guests have the most comfortable, pleasant and enjoyable stay while you’re with them.
We only wish we were able to stay longer!

During our 3 week trip through Costa Rica, this was definitely the HIDDEN GEM! What an incredible place this is. The casitas are wonderfully furnished, up to every little detail. You can find all the necessary amenities, nice little details and infos regarding Costa Rica and its wildlife and a pineapple as a welcome gift. There is a beautiful “community space” where you can have an amazing homemade breakfast (thank you again Joe for your tasty quiche, banana bread and your take on rice and beans) by the owners.
Speaking of the owners, Keith and Joe are just simply lovely. They do not just own and run this place, there live a breath “Nature’s Edge”! Another couple staying there mentioned, that this place has a story and we can only agree.
If you go to Costa Rice, make sure to stop by here. This is a place where you can relax, recharge and if you want, visit the surrounding (waterfalls, beach etc). You have privacy (own casita) with a beautiful patio/terrace/balcony, yummy breakfast, and pool with a nice chill area and on top of all of that, an amazing view, peace and quiet and to wonderful hosts.

this hotel is fantastic.Everything is thought on all details. Rooms are extremely beautiful with an amazing view on the nature and animals. It is so clean, very modern and spacious. You need to make this experience of a simply perfect resort out of standards we find in Costa Rica. Last but not least welcome by John is extremely professional and nice. We loved our stay at Nature's Edge! The bungalows are very comfortable, have all the amenities you could possibly wish for and they come with breathtaking jungle/mountain views. Keith & Joe are amazing hosts and made sure we lacked nothing (the breakfast they prepared for us was the best we had in Costa Rica btw). From the terrace we spotted some wildlife, including monkey's, birds and a raccoon. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back one day!

My fiancé and I have been travelling for 12 weeks in total and have stayed in 30 different properties during this time. Without a doubt, this has been our number 1 favorite; it might seem a little expensive at first compared to other accommodations in Costa Rica, but in our view it's worth every single dollar!
The casitas are just great - nicely situated with scenic views, very well decorated and equipped (with an excellent eye for even the smallest detail thanks to Keith), super clean and very comfortable beds (with super nice and soft linnen - like sleeping on a cloud). The pool area is very well located, providing views on the mountains, the jungle and the ocean all at once. At the same location an excellent breakfast is served every morning (thanks to Joe), with different items on the menu almost every single day - what a great start of the day; imagine seeing tucans flying around and monkeys playing in the trees! There is also the possibility to use the outdoor kitchen at night when you don't feel like eating out for a change; the kitchen is very well equipped (better than at home :)), so you do feel like you're at home cooking dinner but in a much nicer place. Last but certainly not least, the hospitality of the owners is more than amazing. Keith and Joe went out of their way to make sure our stay was as comfortable, enjoyable and remarkable as it could be - and it has been; we got engaged here as it felt like we were living in a little paradise of our own!
There was absolutely nothing that we did not like about this place. Everything was so well done - the entire experience was just brilliant! Thanks again Keith and Joe - you truly are an amazing couple!

The name of the property says it all – Nature’s Edge – as its four cassitas are really scattered on green slopes of a mountain and overlook either jungle, the Pacific Ocean or a mountain valley. Once we checked in, we didn’t feel like leaving this paradise even to explore the neighborhood – it was too good to be true! The views were magnificent, the toucans – extremely entertaining, and the hosts – genuinely hospitable. What else do you need to make it perfect?! Oh yes: a beautiful rancho with the fully equipped kitchen and the recently renovated pool with sea water – a cherry on top. The cassitas were extremely well-designed and beautifully decorated and had everything you could think of. Beds and cushions slept like heaven, and we even had a gorgeous view out of our shower – so you could stare at the jungle while taking it. We had a blast with other guests and cooked together in the evenings sharing food and stories. And in the morning, we all got together for breakfast at the rancho: it was the best breakfast ever we had in Costa Rica. The hosts, Keith and Joe, made us feel home and catered for any wish we had – be it a massage, a chiropractic adjustment or even the acupuncture session. Well, we wished we stayed more in this wonderful place, but we will surely come back there next year to make it happen. Thank you ever so much, Keith & Joe!

Fantastic views, amazing hosts, wonderful breakfast, lovely pool area!
We stayed at the Aracari casita and it was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed in our lives. The views from the casita are breathtaking. The casita is situated on the steep slope of the mountainside, so from there you look out over the rainforest, where you’ll see toucans, aracaris, and even monkeys moving through the trees.
We visited at the beginning of the rainy season, where mists and rain would roll into the valley in the late afternoon. It was incredibly atmospheric, and the sound of the rain and birdcalls in the evening was very soothing.
Joe and Keith are great hosts, friendly, welcoming, and very responsive to enquiries ahead of the stay, and during our time staying with them. They have a wealth of knowledge about the local area and were able to give useful tips on what to see (including letting us know when their neighbours spotted a wild sloth sunning itself up the road) and where to eat. Breakfasts are prepared in the open kitchen by the pool and were excellent.
We didn't rent a car and used 4X4 taxis to go in the town and return. We were also able to hitch a ride with other residents on some days. There are also food delivery services that will deliver direct to your casita if you want to stay in.
It’s a wonderful place. One week back in ‘normal life’ and we can still close our eyes and see the view from the mountainside.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in Costa Rica! Stunning location, perfection and attention to detail! The rooms are tastefully decorated with the most beautiful balcony to enjoy the jungle views, birds and animals. Super comfortable bed with the best ever bed linen! Amazing shower with a view. The owners have thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable & unforgettable. The perfect swimming pool area, where you can relax but also have the delicious breakfast that the owners serve every morning. This place is luxurious and very natural at the same time. The owners are super warm, helpful and friendly people that will advise on any questions or requests you may have during your travel. We definitely recommend this place to everyone!

We loved EVERYTHING about our stay. This place is all about the details! Keith and Joe are extremely thoughtful and generous hosts, we had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was amazing (gourmet home cooked by Joe, and basically 3 courses!) and the room views are absolutely stunning. Photos cannot do it justice. We spotted tons of wildlife like toucans right outside our balcony and revelled at having a howler monkey alarm clock. This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at and I have travelled all over the world. Would recommend anyone going to Uvita to stay here - don’t miss out!

I had the most fabulous stay here! The cabinas are STUNNING, the views are spectacular and the owners (Keith and Joe) are simply two of the best people I have ever met. They attended to my every need and request, and even helped me with transportation after I had left the property but needed help. My stay here was the highlight of my entire trip in Costa Rica and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, I easily could’ve! The breakfast that Joe makes every morning is SO delicious and Keith even did my laundry for me upon request, and my clothes smelled sublime! The place was so great that I did not leave the property once for my entire stay. Amazing place!
