Breakfast was good, the William and Henry restaurant was excellent and the Skyline was also excellent.

A little disappointed that they charged $12 for parking, which they did not sat there was a charge for. We didn't use Valet parking which was $17, they asked if we were parking the car ourselves and told us to place the card in the windshield we found out there was a charge on check out.

My omelette was delicious. The room was gorgeous and the little touches perfect.

Housekeeping knocking on door @ 8 AM , when there is a 11:00 Checkout . No real breakfast after 11:00 when there are restaurants on the property

I didn’t love the Skyline bar. The drinks weren’t very good. They were very expensive for mediocre.

The elegance of the property can not be overstated. Not a speck of dust can be detected. It carries an air of being lovingly maintained. Tangible history still lives in the walls. The Virginia truly feels like American Royalty. Amazingly, it was priced so that my kids and I (a middle class group) could enjoy all of the opulence and history. We all agree that it was the nicest stay we have ever had!
