Lovely hotel with a rooftop terrace and pool. There's a Maysn spa and museum artefacts everywhere. Modern and clean with very pleasant and friendly staff. White Company toiletries Great location central to lots of shops bars restaurants and must see attractions. Can't wait to stay there again.

very uncomfortable bed for a 5* hotel, synthetic pillows and bad windows on noisy street, couldn’t sleep there at all. late check in, even it was my birthday, they didn’t care. couldn’t get my room until 4:30 pm. Pool bar is very basic, can’t make simple cocktails. breakfast wasn’t good, just fried eggs and a few things in the buffet, try some restaurants around for less money a good breakfast. very poor management, the hotel is dying

First impressions was really good. Pleasant staff and fast check-in. Room was breathtaking. Bathroom was very clean. The room was cleaned/checked twice a day. Breakfast staff remembered your order from the previous day, they were very helpful and pleasant.

A better selection for breakfast. yes you can order fried,boiled,poach or an omelette, but there was no toaster or selection of breads.

Liked pretty much everything. Hotel was fantastic and in a great location. It isn’t cheap but then the service matched the price. The museum theme of the room made it very unique against rooms that we had stayed in previously.

1. The Bathroom was too dark for my wife to easily apply her make-up. 2. The room (205) was quite quirky (which was charming) with a few sharp edges to bang your head on in the Bathroom. 3. Traffic noise was particularly loud and noticeable at night but we soon got used to it. 4. Could do with more Wardrobe space as we had to live out of our suitcases.

I loved the air conditioning which worked really well and the mattress was perfect especially because I was pregnant. The water pressure was very good and the cleaning staff were very attentive. I also enjoyed the complimentary water

The rooftop was full and we were disappointed that as hotel guests we weren’t able to find a seat on the Saturday afternoon. The staff on the rooftop restaurant were not very attentive and should have maybe tried to accommodate us.

The hotel is stunning. The rooms are unique and beautifully decorated. The grand suite duplex is one of the nicest hotel rooms i have stayed in. With a stunning bathroom. The in shower steam room was an excellent bonus along with the stand alone bathtub. The rooftop bar was by the far the best one we visited while in barcelona with beautiful views and fabulous atmosphere. The staff in the spa/ bar/ housekeeping/ reception were all so pleasent and helpful. I would highly recommend the Maysan secret Massage, it is one of the only massages i have ever received which left me completely tension free. The beds are also incredibly comfortable.

The only issue i had was there was maintenance work occurring which meant there was no hot water one morning with little pressure. My partner unfortunately had a shower where brown rusty water came down on top of him. However, it was only for a second and was due to maintenance work.

this is not a 5 stars hotel. room is quite uncomfortable and noisy, on the day of my leaving, at 12.13 while packing the suitcase, the stuff member knocked my door and asked me in a rude manner am i going to leave or what? and do i know that check out is at 12? honestly, imagine, that i know, and imagine its not my first time in the hotel, however 5 star hotels have a bit other policy and some smarter tools to kindly ask people leave? im not used to this kind of treat, and felt myself as if i stayed in a hostel. stuff at the reception in the morning havent bothered to ask about my stay, and i wont come back or recommend this hotel to anyone. so, yes, thats definitely a hostel with 5star prices.

Lack of space to put things by the bed. Bedside table taken up by huge lamp, no drawer in it. As a result I lost a couple of things which they've said they can't find... suspect they fell off the table and gone under the bed. Seems small but it was really annoying!
