The hotel is clean and comfortable

This property is quite far away from the city center. You need a 30 min bus ride to the city center(€2.60) or 20 min taxi for €20-25.

Great value and excellent breakfast

Breakfast was terrific The breakfast manager was very nice and helpful.

The bathroom door didn’t shut properly. Would have preferred updated locks on door to room.

Comfortable stop on the west side of Dublin

Comfortable rooms (looks like rooms are recently upgraded, led lights etc.) and facilities. Breakfast and restaurant provide good food and service.

Comfortable Friendly Stay

Even though it's not city centre the 26 bus is quick and frequent. Very friendly staff and a filling breakfast. Just what we needed.

The public areas are a little dated, but that doesn't detract at all.

Nice hotel in the Dublin suburb

The somewhat older hotel is well renovated, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are extremely friendly and professional, the breakfast is extensive and ok. The highlight is the hotel's cozy "The Liffey Bar", which offers very good food and great drinks. The hotel's location isn't great, but there is a direct bus service into central Dublin.

Good breakfast. Very good service. Bar staff also very good. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Great location for trips to dublin centre with bus stop right outside hotel. Great stay, highly recommend.

Our stay at the West Country Hotel

The location was close enough to the national sports centre that we could get there in time for the event. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. The room was nice (I liked the sliding door to the bathroom, a great idea!) and the beds were on the firm side, which I personally like. Breakfast was lovely with limited menu but tasted great. And I loved the old hotel vibe and would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I would say is that the doors are not sound proofed so when inconsiderate guests are coming and going you can really hear it.

Due to the cleanliness and location we will definitely be back.

Comfortable, clean room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast. Great location with bus stop right outside the hotel.

Our experience of the bar was mixed. the first time we used it the service was superb but the second time it wasn't good at all. The food wasn't great either. A pity, because the rest of the hotel was great.

Lovely people, great bus connections and very clean!

The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were lovely and really helpful, even helped us get change for the bus.

The room was very hot and even with the windows open the heating was strong.

Feels like at home.

1) Perfect location as the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. 2) The staff is fantastic. Every single person is so friendly and helpful. Honestly, I have never seen more friendly staff than these people. Catherine, Melisa and Phil, these people are truly assets to this company. 3) Breakfast is so good. After that full Irish breakfast, I couldn’t eat anything for lunch. I was so full.

Great location

The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was nice and comfy. The hotel is located perfectly if you want to visit Dublin city center (20 min with a bus) and you have a very early flight (20 min drive with a car). As a hotel guest you can park your car free of charge in front of the hotel.

The reception desk, the elevator, room hallways and room doors are a bit creepy, read old.
