in terms of value for money, it was a disappointment

Location is great - front desk staff very friendly and helpful

Room carpets dirty even when they "tried" to clean. The housekeeping would slam doors while some of us were asleep. the hotel could use some interior renovation.

Breakfast was good but can be better ..it was the same food everyday except for the pastries that changed. I had to pay city tax for everyday you stay so you make a booking for 2 ..it will be city tax x2 ...which the description of the hotel do not state clearly.

Good

Location is very convenient and close to main attractions, but it takes time (10-15min) to get to metro (this may be a problem in summer, and it was for us). Breakfast has all main breakfast options, nothing special. Also, we found a bunch of nice restaurants close to hotel.

Room had poor air-conditioner and it was rattling when worked, so we cannot use it at night. Bathroom has no privacy, and as well doors to shower and toilet have huge gaps. You can't close it properly, so sad.

I wouldn’t stay there again

the property was centrally located

The drainage from the bathroom let off the worse smell ever. The room was not cleaned that well, as well as walls needed some paint. Also the tall man at the front desk not sure if he was French or Spanish he was super rude him and the tall lady with curly brown hair both were super rude

Clean functional and comfortable rooms ideal for short stays but few other virtues

Exceptionally clean modern facility - think premier Inn in a ultra modernised old historic building, Conveniently located for the City's attractions with an excellent breakfast to start the day (available from 7am to 12 noon

The modern opaque glass dividers for toilets in the room did not provide privacy or modesty.....the fact that the shower glass enabled privacy shows a design fault ie it should have been the other way round.....do I really want to see my spouse using the toilet ? This hotel is ideal for a short break where you want flexibility but it is not for relaxing with lots of facilities or relaxing ambience

Comfort and quality in a great location.

The location was very good and the facilities were as good as we had hoped. Our requests for a particular type of room were met in full. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. Breakfast was great.

Very good

Location .. comfort .. rooms were clean and remade everyday

Was quite shocked when we received the final bill .. almost 80 quid for a couple of drinks and a few packets of snacks

Good location, decent hotel.

I liked the central location and the area felt safe. Many restaurants nearby!

Some rooms had glazed windows and thus no view. The gym didn't have barely any equipment and no treadmill. Could be enhanced easily.

Nice and kind staff. Amazing location.

Room was a bit warm and the thermostat wasn't working, so we had to keep the window open for a bit. The room is very small and tight. The bathroom is separated by a green glass that's opaque, but you can still see all the light if someone is in there.

Overall, I’d recommend.

the room was clean, spacious and modern in design. location was very good.

I didn’t like the entrance door. It was difficult to open. You need to press the button and then wait or push very hard. the door was heavy. The cost of the breakfast should be included in the cost of the room, just like in many hotels nearby.

Superb

We liked everything about the hotel. The location is just a few blocks away from the main tourist attractions and shopping and dining options. the lobby, the rooms and the staff were all wonderful. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

There was construction on the front of the hotel so the hotel was all covered up with scaffolding. although we were given a room facing the back so the noise did not bother us.

Room was great, bed was comfortable. The location was in the centre and it was in the safe zone. The staff was friendly, breakfast was okay.

Maybe the dining room could be more clean.

Quality hotel and great staff in a convenient location.

great location just off the Passeig de Garcia, but fairly quiet. Really lovely rooms (we were offered an upgrade to a junior suite on arrival - worth the extra cost). The staff were so helpful - when we were concerned about slippery surface in the shower they went out and bought us a rubber mat! Nice breakfast too and an “honesty bar” - a good touch.

Our only negative was because of a mix-up with the booking system we had to change rooms for our final night. Again, a superb executive room.

Comfortable stay

Central location, very kind and attentive staff, nice rooms, and nice decorations. The room was fairly clean. Good breakfast with reasonable price.

Bad wifi connectivity in the last floor (don’t know about other floors). Noise from other rooms in floor.
