Always my go to Hotel when I visit, or transit, Sydney. Close to Central Station & Public Transport.

Comfortable and clean rooms. A great bed & good size pillows for mine. They are usually too big & fluffy for me, but these were great. Plenty of room. A Comfortable Lounge Chair with a footrest, a table with 2 chairs (not always the case in many places I have stayed). A great view. I had to check out for a day, to visit family in Penrith for the night. I am to check back in for the next night. The Concierge was gracious enough to allow me to leave two bags for safe keeping, until my return. This was extremely helpful to me. Thank you.

The glass screen in the shower could be a little longer, to prevent water spraying onto the floor. I had a meal in the bar just off the foyer. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, but got a Chicken Schnitzel and chips. I didn't comment as the chicken looked great, and it really was. Not on my Dietitian's list of things I should eat, but I indulged anyway.

Great Hotel, Great Facilities and easy access to public transport for travelling around the city.

Room was excellent, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for taking the train to other parts of the city.

Pillow service phone was never answered throughout my entire stay.

Hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt

Die zentrale Lage, von hier war alles mit kurzen Wegen verbunden: Busse, U-Bahnen Straßenbahnen und Züge. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und damit sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Eckzimmer Deluxe Kingsize, mit tollem Ausblick auf die Stadt.

Not the standard I was expecting from mercure, and for the price I paid

1) Not able to log in to Netflix in room tv which is quite a basic service now provided in most hotels 2) pool is super small, not heated 3) carpark was too dark and scary , and there was a big spider on my car window when I returned

Overall we had a very pleasant and restful stay.

Breakfast buffet was amazing. They catered for a wide variety of appetites and all the food was fresh, cooked to perfection and delicious. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

I would have preferred two single bed for the children but their four berth rooms were all two doubles. It’s also a bit further from the CBD than I realised.

It’s ok, the quality match the price

Breakfast fine and various food can choose, the restaurant try to change different presentation of food in different days.

Hygiene not as expected, such as there is some mosquito inside the room, haven’t clean every rubbish bin daily.

Really awesome hotel! Great location, there's a bus bay right out front. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Everything was great. I think because it's not a giant skyscraper chain hotel they are able to put in a bit more attention to detail

Clean, comfortable and great location!

The room was clean and comfortable, and suited our needs for a one-night stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Well worth $25 each and children eat free. Location was just a short downhill walk to Central Station and the light rail. We can't fault the staff at all. They were friendly, helpful and professional.

Not so much "didn't like" but $395 per night for the room is quite expensive. Two double beds for two (non-couple adults) and a 9yr old. The room was 'cosy'. There was no mini bar. Perhaps the amount of stage shows, concerts, events etcetera reflected the cost? Also, the only thing we could access on the TV was the restaurants.

Overall was a good stay, great location and nice breakfast.

The room size and balcony, location. The service and timeframe in which they fixed problems that shouldn't have been there in the first place.

The cleanliness of the room was not good, table inside was dirty as well as the balcony table and floor. My husband left his electric shaver behind in the room and it has not been returned after calling the hotel within hours of checkout.

Sydney - eine Stadt mit enorm viel Groove und mit dem ÖV so easy zu besichtigen.

Lage phänomenal gleich neben Central Bahnstation von wo aus fast alles in der Stadt und die Beaches erreicht werden kann. Auch Flughafen-Central Station in 15‘ erreichbar.

We always stay at this particular Mercure in Sydney because of its exceptional staff and service.

The staff were amazing and always very obliging to every request. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and this is why we always stay here.

We did find a bag of rubbish in our room upon check in but that was taken care of very quickly.

If we had known it was this bad we would have taken another hotel

Room good, Location difficult to find from train station, Walked into dining room and out again. The standard was bad with dirty carpets and the paintwork not up to standard

The hotel needs refurbishment to bring it up to a reasonable standard

We were disappointed with the pool. The room and the water were both quite cold so we didn’t use it as much as we anticipated.
