Not great, not terrible

Nice bathroom area, rooftop communal area good with nice views. Not too far from metro, good coffee nearby downstairs. Quiet area not too far from Beijing Road.

No fridge was very annoying. Rooms fairly small and old feeling - carpet old and needs replacing. Staff not particularly friendly. Unreliable internet and bad breakfast with poor options which run out fast.

All staff (reception, housekeeping ...) were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist whilst I was in a sort of Covid-limbo awaiting paperwork. Breakfast Chinese, but as I was the only non-Chinese staying that is expected. certainly plenty of options.

Room wasn't the best design, wasting a lost of space on corridor. Larger rooms did not have this. Pre-arrival had problem as responses to my advising 10-11pm arrival were consistently met with cut & paste response about holding room until 6pm. I had a local friend call the hotel & pay a 1 night deposit.

Very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful alll the time. Someone was extra helpful by removing our clothes from the dryer and placing them in our room. We appreciated that so much!! 💪🏾🙌🏽

They need more western options at breakfast. Everything else was great

Good hotel to recommend!

Not too far from the centre. The staffs are nice. The breakfast is not fancy but standard. The hotel is located in a quiet area which is good for relaxation. For food, you can find nearly everything in 300m diameter.

Even it is stated as centre Guangzhou but you have to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest metro station or to the famous Beijing pedestrian road. It is better if the hotel has an English sign name in the facade of the building (now it is on one side and quite high to see). More staffs speaking English will be a great benefit to attract foreigners.
