os funcionários, a localização mesmo em cima da praia, a praia, a alimentação foram elementos que tornaram uma estadia espetacular!

gostei de tudo! apenas uns reparos: uma vez que não existe grande coisa para fazer a volta à noite penso que poderiam ter algumas noites com música ao vivo e os quartos poderiam ser um pouco mais confortáveis.

The location was right at the beach of Jiambiani , it was literally at the beach.

The staff and property were excellent; the housekeeping team and grounds maintenance, admin all deserve special mention. The eco/community projects are commendable.

The one area that let the place down was the restaurant. Staff were always friendly and helpful however the standard and presentation of food was disappointing. We have travelled in Zanzibar for 3 weeks and this was not what we experienced elsewhere. However there are many nearby local places to eat in the village which are great to support ( Captain Cook, Banana, Kim’s are definitely worth a visit - drop in through the day to place your dinner order).

The location on the beach was perfect. You could walk into the ocean when the tide was in. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The staff and hospitality were exceptional. Andess was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Louise from Kemi Tours and Travel was outstanding and went out of her way to accommodate us. Humphrey provided the transfer service and he was a great driver and fun to be with!

I should have stayed longer. I will be back!

The breakfast was a buffet with many options. There was a fresh omelette making service as well. There are only a few rooms at this hotel so it’s quite exclusive and all of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating which makes the experience even better. The facilities and services are also quite nice. There are also trips you can book through the hotel, some unique to Jambiani like the low tide tour, which we wish we had done. Recommend staying for atleast 3 days here to get the full experience

The service for lunch and dinner is slow. For dinner, you have to pre-order a meal during the day and let the staff know what time you’ll be down to dinner. If you don’t preorder you could be waiting hours. During our first night? The staff did not submit our dinner order and we waited 1.5 hours for our meal which wasn’t a great experience.

We requested a dinner on the beach to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and they went above and beyond to provide a beautiful setting and experience for us. We've stayed at the hotel multiple times and every time the service has been outstanding.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Oyster, a true oasis in Jambiani. Despite visiting during the off-season when other hotels were more or less closed, the Blue Oyster was thriving with a full house. The entire staff at the hotel provided exemplary hospitality, offering friendly and helpful service. With various room types available, I stayed in room No.19 located towards the back of the property. Despite its location, the refreshing sea breeze was always present, and the room offered partial views of the sea as well as a serene outlook over the central park. The food was of good quality and plentiful, and the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. Any requests or needs were promptly attended to by the accommodating reception staff and other employees. The hotel provides an enough number of sunbeds, situated on an elevated place to minimize interruptions from beach vendors, ensuring a peaceful vacation experience. Additionally, the hotel prides itself on maintaining beach cleanliness by cleaning the trash from the beach that was brought by the tide every morning, and they encourage all guests to act sustainably and ecologically. Keep in mind, if you want to swim in the ocean that the beach in front of the hotel is subject to high tidal changes. Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Oyster for a tranquil stay in Jambiani.

The staff were so welcoming,rooms were so clean,Breakfast was also nice but the juice was exceptional.the beach was just infront of us.
