Best hotel on the island!

The staff are absolutely amazing as well as the facilities. The Canale crew go above and beyond to make your stay in Kefalonia memorable, this was our second visit to this hotel and it’s definitely not our last! Highly recommend this hotel!

THE most wonderful luxury experience in Kefalonia

We returned to Canale this year, and once again it met and exceeded our expectations. As a designer of luxury residences hotels I travel widely to experience what's out there. This is simply one of the best boutique luxury hotels in the world. A quiet unassuming elegance that is so refreshing ! It was wonderful to see hosts Spiros and Alexandra again, who are absolute assets to the Canale. There is nothing too small for them; and they go out of the way to make sure everything is perfect for you. A huge congratulations and I look forward to visiting again !

Everything about our stay at Canale was perfect. From the moment we arrived, my boyfriend and I were made to feel like their only guests. We were greeted with cocktails and cucumber water on arrival, and even upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi as it was our anniversary. The breakfast each morning was exceptional. The best and most decadent breakfast I’ve ever had - the host just kept bringing out delicious food. And when my boyfriend mentioned that he liked passionfruit, each morning the host brought out extra passionfruit. Above all else, the best things about this hotel is the staff. They are always on hand to help and make you feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back every year.

Great experience

Fantastic breakfast - nothing was too much trouble. Staff all very friendly and attentive and keen to make our stay as good as possible. Souris was a real star.

Indeed best place to stay in Kefalonia!

The main thing about this hotel is client experience. Alexandra and whole team are very caring, available and always ready to make your stay great in the island. Their recommendations (restaurants, beaches etc)are always very good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Book without hesitation - you won't regret it!

I kind of stumbled upon this hotel as I was looking for a private jacuzzi/ hot tub with the room. This was a birthday treat for my partner and a bit of spoiling was in order. But we both got much more than what we expected with 5 star treatment, concierge service and super friendly staff. Breakfast also deserves a mention - great selection of sweet and savoury, including fresh fruits and greek options. An absolute smashing service and experience provided by the entire team at the hotel. Felt more like friends by the end of it and we will definitely be back.

This hotel was absolutely incredible. The breakfast was superb, location was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. We spent three weeks travelling around Greece and Kefalonia was our favourite place to visit- massively due to this hotel!

We loved our stay at this hotel.

The staff at this hotel were amazing - super attentive (but not in an encroaching way) and really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were always around to help, if needed. The staff were my teenagers favourite part of this stay :) The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The location was perfect for us as it was easy to walk to the pedestrian shopping/eating area and we didn't need to use the car at night.

Where do I begin, this hotel is absolutely amazing. The location, the amenities but most importantly the staff who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you with anything you need. The staff at Canale are second to none, they helped us organise cars, taxi’s, boat trips and restaurants. They were genuine, warm and really want you to get the most out of your stay. If I could rate our stay 20/10 I would!

oh my word what a sublime experience. I have travelled extensively; so was truthfully amazed at the sophistication of this hotel. 7 star service. the rooms are designed and finished to an unbelievable level of contemporary opulence. the staff are caring, acutely efficient and go out of their way to make you feel special. cannot wait to return and for a longer period.

Amazing 5 star stay in a beautiful island!

A beautiful modern boutique hotel close to the town. Absolutely amazing staff especially Alexandra who is always so helpful, full of tips and ideas, and even booked us a bed right on the beach and organised free drinks for us, and upon realising I wanted to exercise got me full raft of exercise equipment in the room! thank you so much! Breakfast is also amazing!!

Tranquil, exclusive and perfect for couples

Such a tranquil, exclusive hotel. You wouldn't believe you were in a central city. Alexandra couldn't do enough for us, the welcome drinks, map and information about the whole island, it was a perfect place to stay. The beds and pillows are the best! Breakfast was vast and possibly too much but beautifully presented and all staff so helpful. Would highly recommend. We will be back! Xx

The team at the hotel are so accommodating and friendly, they really added to the stay. Every little detail is thought of, including nice soothing music in the communal areas. Everything is of super high quality and the breakfast is amazing! They were happy to make me a vegan breakfast and the room service is perfect! If we go back to Kefalonia this is the only place we would stay!

The best hotel in kefalonia.

It has been a pleasure staying with Canale hotel! The room is exactly as the pictures shows. Everything is being take care in detail, from the extremely clean and well care facilities. Wine bar in the room and hot tub with amazing sea views. The hotel has a great location withing walking distance you can go the main square of the capital. The staff at the hotel are super helpful, friendly and very professional. They have helped us to book restaurant for dinner or lunch, they helped us to book a taxi and much more. Thank you Canale hotel to make this occasion so special for us. We will definitely come back soon!
