There is a 20 minutes walk to get to the finca and you follow the beautiful stream, sound of water along the way & see all the variety of plants growing. I got a warm welcome from the staff & Polo. To my surprise there was a delicious treat once I arrived. I like the fact that we are further from all the touristy areabut still close by with the bus or motortaxi. It almost feels like a mini community & i would definitly stay more than 1 night when i come again. Polo uses alot of his own produce thats on the finca to prepare the meals so the flavors of the food served is amazing! I ate like a queen :) The cacao tour was very nice and it only made me even more passionate of chocolate, enjoy & savor it before you leave Much gratitude to have met everyone here & to be part of this hidden gem 😊🌺

Tout était parfait ! Une petite randonnée pour y accéder et Paulo vous accueillera avec un grand sourire, sa gentillesse, une limonade et son propre chocolat ! On se sent à la maison dès les premières secondes et on y fait de magnifiques rencontres 🧡 La vue de la chambre était magnifique, comme dans un rêve. On a l’impression de dormir en haut d’un arbre dans la jungle, tellement apaisant 🌴 Le calme et le bruit des animaux la nuit a la Finca est une expérience que je recommande à tout le monde :) Tout est neuf et super propre ! Les petits déjeuners et les repas préparés par Paulo sont un délice 😍 On apprend énormément de choses sur les fruits de Colombie et le chocolat, Paulo prend même le temps d’expliquer en français, anglais et espagnol ! Nous avons tellement aimé l’expérience que nous avons décidé de rester une 2eme nuit. Ça reste de loin mon meilleur souvenir de la Colombie !! J’ai très hâte de revenir :)

Had an amazing experience up in the mountains with Polo, would highly recommend! The view was spectacular. The host is French and prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us. He runs a cocoa and fruit vegetation. The tour of his land and how prepares chocolate is not to be missed!

Peaceful rain forest… small cacao farm… dozens of fruits and herbs growing on the farm. Polo - the creator - is thoughtful, friendly and fun. He is making something new every day. Nearby rio with small rocky falls. More life per square inch everywhere.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem. The mule pick-up service added a unique touch, making us feel like true adventurers as we arrived at the property. Our room had breathtaking views and we couldn't get enough of the ever-changing panorama and the sounds of the river stream and birds around us. We enjoyed Polo's culinary skills, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. The chocolate tour was an absolute highlight! Learning about the process while indulging in treats was an experience we won't soon forget. Also the inclusion of local fruits from the grounds was a delightful touch. It felt like a genuine connection to the land and its offerings. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Polo's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. If you're seeking a getaway that combines stunning scenery, outstanding cuisine, and unforgettable experiences, look no further than this hidden gem!

What a unique, little paradise in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by fruit trees and a stunning view to the ocean. We highly recommend taking the cacao tour and having breakfast. Polo is an excellent chef! It's a little hike from the main road to the house but it's worth every step.

It was this comment title "Paradise on Earth" which was why we ended up here - and that's exactly what we found: * Peace, quietness and lots of nature * Wonderful views and lots of space * Great food * Divine chocolate * Unbelievably delicious fruits from the own garden * Soul charming hours in the hammock * Delightful cocoa and fruit tour * And a really wonderful host! The accommodation is already very special: an open stilt house, with the guest room on the "second floor" and the covered terrace, from which one can look from the hammock swinging up to the sea and surrender to the murmur and rustle of the jungle. Downstairs are the kitchen, bathrooms, another terrace and the owners room. Polo is a wonderful host - with a sense of distance and restraint or contact and encounter, depending on what it takes at the time. Also communication is great – immediately via WhatsApp with precise instructions on the location of the accommodation and how to get there. Important to know: Yes, the way to the finca is as long as it says in the description and in the comments. And yes, the 15-20 minutes are somewhat arduous - and the effort is absolutely worth it! If you really want to immerse yourself and have time for the fantastic cocoa and fruit tour, we recommend at least two nights :D

Absolutely magical!! Almost impossible to describe the beauty adequately. Wonderful host, delicious food, the best chocolate you'll ever taste--a holy place!
