The room is in disrepair, sink no stopper, the counter tops were pretty banged up. Beds are not comfortable. The front desk checking in was nice. The breakfast was okay, microwave not functional so heating up the food options that were provided forced taking it to the room. The fridge in the room was not keeping anything cold. I have stayed here many times, haven't seen it like this in over a decade, unfortunate.

So we have stayed here before and had a very nice stay in thr past.This time was different. The front desk receptionist was nice on check in and the young man on check out too. But the breakfast worker actually "moved us aside" physically? Just so she can get to the waffle machine. There was no one else in there?? What was the hurry? To physically touch both my husband and I felt invasive, especially after the Covid pandemic. Also the outlets are very loose so it was difficult to charge our electronics. We were a late arrival and once I was in the shower both the conditioner and shampoo were empty?? Had to have my husband go to lobby and ask for some so I could complete my shower? Unsure if we would choose here again.

20 minutes before end of breakfast time: no waffle mix, no yogurt, no juice, no potatoes. On the upside, hot popcorn in the lobby all day.

I am very un happy with the room and fhe cleaniless of my room. The carpet smelled and did not look vacuumed. Also at night we felt like bugs were biting us as we slept. So sleeping was hard to do. I want my money back we did not get rest to drive home on our 12 hour drive. I am so up set.

Not a bad place to stay. I would stay there again. It’s just been around for awhile and hasn’t been upgraded as by the looks. Front desk staff seemed preoccupied but did smile after we checked in.

Checked in and found out we we placed as far away, different building, as we could get. The reservation was for a king bed and we had a queen bed. In the room, there was one inoperable light beside the bed (switch broken), there was an iron but no ironing board, the bathroom exhaust fan did not operate and the heater/air conditioning unit sounded like a freightvtrain next to us. Lastly, the pillows were like sleeping on a fifty-five gallon drum. We will NEVER stay at another Best Western.

Met typical Best Western expectations; very close to Interstate 5, so easy to find but also quiet; large breakfast choices; and loved that there were 2 bathroom sinks/vanities.

Quick check-in and very comfortable, quiet room. Convenient location to freeway and across the street from two restaurants for dinner. However - One lamp in room did not work. No charging station. Full breakfast was 5:30 to 9:30, but was cleared out by 9:00 - so had to leave premise for food. No Elevator. Other visitor complained about broken coffee maker in their room.

The rooms had dirty towels stashed away under the sink. We booked a king suite, and ended up with two full-sized beds. Not happy about that, since we had 4 guests in a room. And the staff made minimal eye contact when I was trying to get some answers.

Blood or fecal splatter on toilet lid, bed very old and sunken in from too many years of use. I slept on the dirty floor instead. An overpriced property for the condition.

Worst hotel experience ever. I arrived late in the evening and found out the hotel cancelled my prepaid reservation with NO contact with me via email/phone/text or anything. I was stuck trying to find another hotel late at night in a small town with few hotels. I can't believe a national chain (best western) would allow this to happen. Horrible.

This is an older property that is being re furbished . The room was nicely furnished the bed was very nice. The neighborhood looks slightly rundown, but workable. I would stay here again.

am writing to express my considerable disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Despite having reserved a suite room well in advance.I was given a standard room . There are six family members, four adults and two children, and two of them had to lie on the floor with great difficulty.Not only did this fall woefully short of my expectations and the description I had been assured of, but it also significantly impacted the quality of my stay. I had chosen your establishment based on its reputation for quality and service, and I must say, my experience has been a significant letdown. I expect immediate action to be taken to rectify this situation, including suitable compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Arrived at 2AM to check in and they had issued my room to someone else. There was no vacancy so me, my wife, and our 6 month old daughter had to drive through the night.

A tale of mixed experiences. My family of 6 arrived with a reservation for a suite. Our room was only a double queen with no pull out couch. They gave us a second room, but tried to charge us for it. After some conversation, they agreed to comp us the second room. The staff was very friendly, but it wasn't great to have our family separated.

Well at first the hotel seemed awkward since I got a room that was on the backside. But the room was awesome (a suite). Very clean, large, comfortable beds, etc. There was two pools on the property, which I thought was impressive. Breakfast was also great. Huge safe parking lot. And even a cute outdoorsy area with a small play structure for kids.

This is my second time staying at the Miner’s Inn. Their staff people are very courteous and helpful, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast they provide is very good. The property is in a nice location, just off the freeway exit and near Yreka’s historic district. Despite being near the freeway, there was little to no traffic noise. The only unsatisfactory thing about our stay was that their satellite TV service did not include local stations and thus no local news or weather coverage (Yreka is my home town, so this was a real disappointment). The Weather Channel was also not available. Fox News was the only accessible “news” channel. Since Fox specializes more in propaganda than real news, we had to go online to get local news and weather forecasts. Given that we were there during the height of wildfire season, this was not a good or safe thing, particularly since tourism and outdoor recreation are Yreka’s principal industries.

Room comfortable and clean. No housekeeping or clean towels in three night stay. TV does not work. Toilet seat loose and one light in bathroom burned out.

Check in was easy and the desk clerk was very helpful. Our room was spacious, quiet and very convenient to the very lovely park-like grounds. We enjoyed the picnic tables and little stream that flowed behind our room. It was a perfect setting for us since we travel with 2 small dogs. We, and they, really enjoyed our one-night stay and hope to return again for a longer time.
