The hotel staff was amazing. Our room was a bit smelly and the carpet was kinda gross.
I told the staff and they say they would have to cleaned. Overall I’d stay here again

I brought my son and teammate (both 13 years old) to Baltimore for a national chess tournament. Our stay was from Thursday, April 4 through Monday, April 8. We had a great time and loved the amenities (full fridge, cooktop, microwave, kitchen sink, coffee maker, FREE wonderful breakfast). Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms are modern and clean. The chess tournament was at the convention center which was an easy/safe walk from the Residence Inn straight down Light Street to Pratt (less than 10 minutes). We loved the Dunkin' Doughnuts next door to the hotel and also were happy to find good kid-friendly restaurants nearby. The kids were also thrilled to find a free pool table in the hotel sports bar ("Urban Roost"). They played pool every night. ON the last evening we walked down to the harbor and shopped. We also ate at Hard Rock. Easy walk back--and felt pefectly safe even at almost 9 pm. Thanks for a great stay!

The room, once it was available is nice. I pre-checked in on the Bonvoy app and the room was not ready at 5:30 pm when check-in was 4pm. Location is good and the room is cean and large.

Overall a nice hotel but when my wife and I woke up in the morning, we were unable to shower because our tub would not drain and our sink did not drain. When you’re spending over $300 on a Saturday night taking a shower in the morning is a nice amenity

This was a great stay and prime location for the JVA volleyball tournament at the convention center. It only took five minutes to walk there. The only challenge upon reaching the hotel was parking. The front of the hotel was loaded with cars and I had to circle around for 15 minutes. The hotel has valet parking or you can chance parking in a parking garage. The streets were so busy around 6pm that the garages were hardly noticeable. Now that I am aware of this, I should be good next year, LOL!!!

A very pleasant, well cared-for property. Most of the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Good location within easy walk to the Convention Center and neighborhood restaurants. I’ll look here first when returning to Baltimore.

The facility was just OK. The neighborhood didn't feel safe with people drinking on the streets.

We came into Baltimore at rush hour and managed to get into hotel. Very surprised how nice property is.
I know people afraid of Baltimore’s reputation for violence but I felt safe because of security around this area. We were able to walk to dinner last night and streets busy.

Great location, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant was under construction.

This was much nicer than I expected. You'd never know the building is as old as it is. I will absolutely stay here again. Staff was friendly and efficient, getting in and out was easy, and everything was clean and comfortable.

We only stayed one night to attend a concert at the arena but will definitely stay here again when in the area. The gentleman working the front desk was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Location is great - 10 minute walk to the arena, convention center, harbor, and Camden Yards is not much further. And the area was well lit. There are two great little taverns on the same block as the hotel - Peter's Poorhouse and the Water Street Tavern. And plenty of other options in the area. Lobby was clean. Room was clean and had a full kitchen w separate bedroom area. And even though we had a corner unit on the main road, it was quiet enough overnight to sleep well. Hotel does have complimentary breakfast bar but we did not go down for it so cannot comment. It also appears the hotel is currently renovating its full service restaurant. Like most urban hotels, parking was expensive but since everything was walkable for us, we chose to self park at the garage next to the hotel and not pay extra for valet since we did not need in and out privileges. We paid $31 (ridiculous) to park vs $42 for valet.

The valet parking is a little overwhelming.. Also I don’t understand why we have to pay to park when we are guest at the hotel.. Also the check in time was not accurate.. but thankfully we were able to check in before 4pm.

Safe area, close to harbour. Great dining/shopping nearby. Valet parking cost should be better advertised. Parking is a premium but not $40/day. Make it a lower rate for multiple days!

The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. They were knowledgeable of the area and offered suggestions for fun things to do in the area. Everyone I encountered had pleasant demeanors and handled complaints with great poise. I would definitely stay and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Property was nice. Complimentary breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. We were on the 2nd floor facing 2 bars so it got loud at night. Ear plugs and leaving the fan running solved this.

A great place conveniently located near the inner harbor and downtown. Very clean and well-maintained. We will stay here again for sure.

The staff was totally amazing. All of the front desk clerks are very attentive and I appreciate their help with my bags and the checking in/check out process this morning. I will stay there again when I come back to Baltimore. The room was also very clean and comfortable. It is also very convenient to the convention center.Thank you!

Very convenient location. There were a few small things broken in the room. It could use some updating.

The room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was the same everyday, but there were lots of choices. The only negative was that we had to ask for clean towels 3 times before we received any. Easy walk to the inner harbor and convention center. Fantastic stay, would stay again.

Staff was great overall. Ants in my room, mold in the washroom, no fan in the washroom. Very dated room. Sofa bed was a joke, should be in the garbage. The daily breakfast was decent.
