Hotel was clean and we were able to check in early which was nice. However the room had no coffee/hot water machine which was annoying. Also there were no black out shades or curtains so putting our 1 year old down for a nap was difficult with the light streaming thru the wooden shutters. Other annoying thing was we couldn't find any ice machines on our floor.

A very comfortable hotel with a nice charm to it. It is centrally located and quiet, too.

It is a beautiful historical building you also have to pay for the parking $29 per day which was ok. The problem comes when you get into the room and there is no privacy for the restroom. The toilet is separated from the shower by glass thats also the glass door to the toilet has a gap and doesn't shut. Other than that the hotel experience was fine i probably will not stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful but the A/C in the room did not work so it was very uncomfortable

I really like this hotel. This was my second time booking/staying here. This time was a combination of business and pleasure. It would have been nice to have a coffee pot/station in the room as I was up early working east coast time and had to wait for the lobby coffee station to open. On a positive note, I enjoyed having the desk/workstation, internet access for work.

The hotel was great. The only issue was the carpet in the room was dirty. Our dock car black from walking on it.

Our room was over sold. They compensated us by upgrading us to a suite and also waving off our parking fees without me having to ask. I love ppl or places who can own up to their mistakes. Staff said, “Ty for making it easy on us.” I responded, “whats there to complain about? You took care of us!”

Stay was OK. Room definitely had some cleanliness-issues. There was a hairball on the floor in the shower, and some of the ”fresh new” towels we received were dirty.

Upgraded spacious room. Friendly bar in lobby. Courteous staff. Pool and gym are very nice. Many games in lobby. Beautiful courtyard off the lobby. Our two grandsons enjoyed visiting the hotel.

Always our #1 boutique hotel to stay in when we are overnight in Pasdena.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The only complaint we have was the bed and pillows. So uncomfortable. Husband and I both have back and neck pain from the 2 nights we were there

I do not care about eco friendly so I didn’t answer that question, all I want is a place to stay that has friendly people and a save place away from LA and some charm like Pasadena Hotel and Pool. We stay there just because of these accommodations, thank you. No one looks at a hotel for eco friendly.

Would be nice to have complimentary water in the rooms for guests, but overall was a great stay. Nice and clean, well designed and friendly staff.

Right when I walked in I noticed how beautiful the inside of the building was. Gorgeous furniture. The room was on the small side but perfect for my needs. Large tv and window facing desk.

Great 1 night stay. Hotel staff was great, super friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was also good, the only knock was getting through the parking structure, not sure if it was garbage day but the sewage smell was super strong. Overall a good great time.

Such a charming hotel! Stayed for the weekend and wish we booked longer, central to restaurants and shopping on Lake Ave and Colorado Blvd. Highly recommend!

Elegant traditional lobby and building, guestroom corridors and guestrooms bordering on tacky with swirls and LED strips

Parking is expensive, $29 a day

This is a lovely hotel, with plenty of excellently maintained public areas, which were beautifully designed. Rooms are great, touch small, many's a design fault, and a little old. But still value for money for what I paid.

Great location, walkable to many restaurants and coffee choices.

Charming historic hotel, well maintained. Rooms are very modern, must be recently renovated, clean. Front desk employee is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back.

Nice little gem! This property has a lot to offer at a good price. Parking and check-in were easy, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the lobby was fun and inviting. Dinner at the bar was excellent and the piano player was a nice touch. My room was a bit small, but nicely decorated and quiet. I would stay here again!

Was not impressed. Room was quiet and clean but very small for 2 adults. No coffee maker which is something I’ve not come across before so I didn’t think to check before booking. Requested room be serviced in the morning while we were out. Came back early afternoon and had to request again. Requested again as we headed out for the evening. Came back to a pile of towels on one of the beds which wasn’t made. The room was fine but would set my expectations accordingly if I stay again.

A wonderful little gem in the middle of Pasadena. Really enjoyed my peaceful night, and my glorious morning at the pool. The gym was super clean and overall the whole hotel was well kept.

Beautiful hotel in Old Town Pasadena. Can’t wait for the opportunity to stay there again.

Martin at the front desk was absolutely wonderful so was the bartender in the morning making lattes. The maintenance people who came to fix the TV remote also outstanding. However, at 1 am when the people in the next room were screaming, yelling, fighting and generally acting like they were all in a drug induced state (which I found out later they were), I could not sleep yet the management on site were not able/willing to remedy the situation. The crazy loud people continued with their LOUD ranting antics for over 2 hours. No sleep for me. I was fuming. As the people continued to scream and shout and fight and even verbally assault me, nothing was done to assist me and I was forced to leave at 3:30 in the morning and drive an hour to another place to sleep. Needless to say it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my 60 years! When I called down to the front desk on my 3rd try the staff member became annoyed with ME and said that I was ‘…not the only one impacted; hotel staff was too.’
I have never written a negative review- ever. I used to work in hospitality. I would do anything to make the guest’s comfort & satisfaction my number one priority.
My experience was the opposite of hospitality. I will never return to The Pasadena Hotel & Pool, no matter what- even if they offer me a free weekend stay- I will not. Stay away from The Pasadena Hotel & Pool as they favor the rights of rude rule breakers over the rights of their quiet, sleeping guests.

Issues with the room, moved to another room and that room also had problems. And the jets on the tub would randomly turn on. Late at night around 2 AM and all through the night extremely loud sounds of running water from the pipes kept me up all night. Very disappointed.

Great big comfy luxury room. Clean, safe, quiet property. Lovely pool and good little gym.
With luggage it is a schlep from parking to lobby and there is no staff help.
Atmosphere and service at bar is very dreary. Lots of good food and drink nearby.

Location quite good with restaurants nearby. 20 minutes walk to old Pasadena. Bar okay but rooms plastic and Formica and dated. Have to say though that all the I dealt with were great.

Just letting you guys know that this historic hotel is absolutely wonderful from the pool and the staff that come out there to make sure you have a drink on site. They got a great bar the inside of the facilities as far as the lobby is outstanding. I would say that the room itself being updated and looking very posh is so nice. I think the bar area they had out there near the lobby was awesome and the woman who checked me in did an excellent job. I wasn’t supposed to check in until later and she knew how tired I was so she tried to get me a room as soon as possible and she did within the next 10 minutes. This is a four-star hotel, and I would rated five stars.

Love the ambiance of the building. The king room with a bathtub was marvelous. Wish they kept with the feel of the building for the rooms, but the room was beautiful regardless. The tub was clean and ready for use which made me so happy to see! Love the area too, we were able to walk to a restaurant called Nick’s and it was amazing. Great experience!

Beautiful pool but no hot tub. Beautiful room with large bathroom, but did not provide coffeemaker nor complimentary coffee in the lobby. Also, standard TV channels only, no premium. Lobby and courtyard lovely, but would have enjoyed reading material about the history of the hotel. Overall, certainly enjoyed our stay
