A very nice hotel. Stayed in the “Buck House”, new rooms with an “old time” look. Fully updated, dual head shower. Nice bar and restaurant. Hotel is located conveniently to downtown shops and restaurants

Lovely hotel and staff! Lots of vintage and retro furniture and art. Our room (218) had a wonderful bed and nice bathroom. The amenities and towels are great quality. Loved the Nespresso machine with coffee in the room. This hotel was perfect for an overnight and perfectly located to walk eat and shop!!! Thank you especially to Eva- she was so helpful and really nice!!!

Charming, historic hotel. Our room was fabulous! Not huge but so comfy and updated.
The hotel bar is cozy and the food was amazing. Great staff! Would 100% stay again.

Stay was excellent in this inn. Everything was spectacular from the cleanliness to its rustic appearance. The only solitary thing I can say is that we received a room next to the main stairwell that received much foot traffic.

No parking available….just street parking and now impossible because of the seafood festival that we did not know about, neither was alerted of.

The electronics are too complicated and did not work. The TV is incomprehensible unless specific instructions are provided, and they are not. The AC is complicated.

I stayed one night on my way to a weekend with friends. I had an exhausting day of travel and was looking forward to sleeping in. Early in the morning workers arrived outside my door and began drilling and hammering. When I went to leave they literally had equipment blocking my exit. It was not the peaceful stop I had hoped for.

Located just outside the center of town your room is still quiet. The property is old but renovated. My only caution would be that is you are concerned about walking there are no elevators. Our second story room was somewhat challenging to get to. The front desk offered help but I refused. I probably would have taken it if I knew how mant steps were involved.

Great place , particularly certain rooms. Beautiful marvel bathroom, Parlor Bar, walk to everything in town. Prices vary dramatically.

Love the Gibson Inn. Quaint, but opulent property located downtown Appalachicola, FL. Renovated rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. We will stay there again.

The house keeping staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs. They helped locate a lost pillow although the pillow case was never found. I beleive her name was Stacy.

We would stay again would also recommend to friends. Very clean. Quite at night. However was under a construction so there were noises in morning. The place is clean. Parking is around the out skirt of the buildings. First come first serve. No parking garage. Front desk needs a map to show new people like us arriving late at night so we know where to look for our buildings. And the name of the building needs to be visible. Ours happened to be behind the bushes. Lol. But we found it after driving around the building a second round.

Our room was beautiful, clean and well set up. Staff were friendly. Easy to walk around town. I would love to return.

Room was clean and well appointed. Service was not so good as they did not make the bed or replace towels. Told I had my pajamas on the bed so they did not make it, What the heck ??? towel was on a chair not floor so it did not get replaced even though it was used. Finally the locks do not work cause they are from 1907 or some such. Poor security

We had a fantastic stay! The customer service from my initial call to check in and check out was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect. Breakfast was awesome. We will be back!

Our say was just for 2 nights but we had a very nice time. The staff were professional and friendly, and the hotel has a wonderful old time charm.
The only issue is the lack of a pool as there are no beaches near the property.

Cozy, comfortable and clean. I was transported to a different time, where life was much simpler. Elegance, antiques and a wrap around porch with rockers and swings. I slept with rain hitting the tin roofs and windows it was heavenly. Right in the middle of this beautiful quaint town. I can’t say enough good things.

Amazing hotel in a cute town! Really enjoyed the stay, especially sitting on the bunkhouse porch with a glass of wine in the comfortable rocking chairs at the end of the day.
