This hotel is a landmark in downtown and located in a relatively safe area. So I always stay here when I have to use a hotel in downtown and I’ve been always satisfied. Especially this time, I received great help from Manny Ayala at the concierge. I needed to print an important document urgently, and Manny was happy to help me, allowing me to carry out my work smoothly. If I visit downtown LA again, I plan to stay at this hotel again.

Overall a good stay. Only disappointment was the lack of clarity on breakfast, which we had prepaid. Our assumption was that breakfast was served at Dekkadance Restaurant on the 69th floor, but during our stay there was a plumbing issue that kept the restaurant closed. Unbeknownst to us, there was a breakfast buffet (which even opened 30 minutes earlier than the restaurant) on the lobby level (floor 70) which no one ever bothered to tell us about. As it turned out, we were able to eat there, but didn't even know about it until we really started asking, and even then no one went out of their way to help us find it. That part was frustrating, but other than that, a beautiful hotel to stay in. Very clean.

Loved that the hotel offered 24hr room service. And even though in the middle of the city, felt extremely safe.

Absolutely a horrible experience and the only way I would go back is if I was given a free stay.

Awesome relax stay

Great stay, very secure, clean, no issues. Elevators take time to figure out and move around, but nice once you figure it out.

Nice spare design--like being in a space ship--comfortable beds, very clean, incredible view, fast elevators, friendly service, good bath products, good location. Amazing gym! My only complaint is that it had a surprisingly low-budget hair dryer, which meant I had to deal with frizzy hair because I hadn't expected to pack my own dryer at this price point. (and, not about this hotel in particular, but I really wish that US hotels would at least install toilet seat bidets. Gross that Americans wipe their butts with toilet paper rather than wash them.)

Perfect location, nice view from the room/lobby. Room was very clean and staff were nice. The gym was incredible for a hotel. Only complaint was the elevators. You have to transfer on 70th floor to get to your room.

Housekeeping only 1 day during stay. No towels in the locker room. Sauna temperature 60 degrees. Management was more concerned of taking care of the Alabama entourage while they were here. Housekeeping kept telling us no cleaning after 5 pm. I’m just so appalled with this trip with intercontinental. I’ll think long and hard on my next booking!!

Enjoyed my stay here. Room was spacious and clean. The bar at check in was surprisingly dirty. The steak house was good not great but it did have beautiful views. Rooftop is always a good time. Great location if you’re going to crypto.

All the facility and hospitality was very nice but, reception was not. Explanation of basic information was not surficient. Althoough my reservation was included with break-fast, explanation about the location and time information was after my question and check. Also I did not get the recipe of accomodation yet (may be the e-mail add. info. was not collectly filled in by reception). But I could not find contact information !! If someone got this review from the hotel please deliver my inconvinience to reception.

This place is horrible they have maids slamming everything early in the morning being rude for no apparent reason

Nice hotel, not the best for families as you can’t leave a bathroom light on without lighting the whole bedroom due to the frosted glass bathroom wall. Hotel and staff were good although I don’t know why they continue with the small plastic shower and shampoo washes. Firstly it’s not environmentally friendly and secondly you book 4 people and get 1 shower gel, which does a person and a half at most. Downtown LA isn’t the nicest place but was safe to walk to crypto arena which is why we were there. $48usd for a late (1030pm) hamburger was ridiculous though.

Stayed here for a few times already, the experience this time was very bad. The room we originally booked was over booked when we got to the hotel. So we were forced to pay for an upgrade. Not professionally handled. Also the room was not properly cleaned, the lotion bottle had drips from the last guest. And shampoo ran out on the second day. The shower makes a squeaky noise, could be distracting if you are not a deep sleeper.

This hotel is nice overall. Valet parking made it super easy to get my bags out the car, every staff member was helpful and courteous, and the views from the junior suite room were amazing.
With that being said my gf and I left the hotel after only being there for 7 hours and went to Hotel Indigo. We were under the impression the room here had a bathtub we’d be able to relax in, it did not. The shower itself also had very low water pressure and a broken shower head so that aspect was very disappointing, so much so we left around midnight.

Bathroom was a bit dirty, no dryer in the bathroom, tried to called to request one and the phone wasn’t working. I tried calling the lobby from my phone and none was able to assist.

The stay was nice. The view was amazing. Near by bunch of shops in downtown LA. I thought we were gonna have house keeping to clean are rooms while we were out but it was not. When picking up my car at check out. My back rest was way back and my car smelled of weed and I don’t smoke. But other then that, I will stay again

Just spent 3 nights @ Intercontinental Los Angeles; the hotel was beautiful and our room was perfect. We used the metro while there and the station was across from the hotel which was a plus. Would definitely stay there again.
