Despite being one of the newer hotels on the mid-peninsula, this hotel already needs some updates, mostly in the bathroom. Rusting mirror and grunge in the grout around the tub means this hotel has been used a lot! For this reason, we won't choose this hotel again, especially when newer, better-condition hotels are nearby.

Pretty nice place to stay! There are stores and restaurants very close by. The breakfast had a little something different everyday which was nice. Overall satisfied with my stay here.

The property was very clean and the staff was very nice. I am most particular about the bathroom and the shower. Most hotels that we've stayed at, the bathtub is usually clogged so you are showering with the water pooling on your feet. Not very clean after all. This hotel, however, is not like that. They have very good pressure on the shower and the water drains well. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I had initially reserved a room with a king bed and was given a room with 2 queens. In speaking with the front desk they told me they didn't have any other room, which ultimately they did. I was told they thought by giving me the 2 beds that it was considered an "upgrade" and somewhat larger space which wasn't the case. In the end I was given a king which has a walk-in shower vs. a tub that I prefer. Also the noise factor coming from the halls seemed to be louder than in other places. The door peephole was broken and the TV screen was too small for that size of a room.

It wasn’t the best experience I have had. The bed was broken and didn’t know it til we got back from a real nice dinner. The breakfast was mediocre. The comfort of the bed was horrible too. My wife is handicapped and she was in so much pain sleeping on the bed. She barely slept and cried most of the night. I didn’t sleep well at all either. Couldn’t get comfortable either. I think I will stay somewhere else next time. The staff didn’t really care when I told them about our night. They just looked at us and said ok, we will have someone look at the bed after you check out. Really!!!

It was an amazing stay particularly the mini-kitchen and we will for sure come back, plus promote to others. Front desk staff should be especially commended, such as Dan, Marina, and the Asian female front desk person who checked us in (apologies for not taking down her name). Even their smiles were very sincere!

We loved our stay at this hotel. Conveniently located to stores/ food options. The hotel was clean and big. It was in a great area and right off the freeway. The breakfast was great as well! Will definitely be staying here again.

Convenient location, we love the breakfast buffet. There was a big bug crawling on our table in our bedroom which I reported and showed at the front desk. Our first day check in was a little slow like the lady didn’t know the process but we finally got checked in when she called the manager. The staff at the breakfast buffet were very friendly and did excellent jobs. We like staying in this hotel for convenience.

Nice large rooms with two queen beds, a kitchen area with two stove top burners, sink, microwave, dishwasher, and large fridge. Pans provided and some dishes. The room was big and clean we stayed there for 8 days. Room cleaning was hit or miss a little bit. They came about every two days, which is fine, but it was not consistent and it would be nice to know when we would get fresh towels and when we would not (2 adults and 2 kids). You could ask for them at the desk, though. Otherwise, very good.

I was attending a wedding for the weekend, and this hotel was listed as one of the options for accommodations! The free parking, and free hot buffet breakfast was what sold me, in addition to having a convenient location in the heart of San Mateo, and within close proximity to the wedding venues for the ceremony & reception. The hotel is brand new, immaculately pristine, and vibrant! It is within the reasonable price range, and offers a plethora of amenities in a very safe & secure neighborhood! Highly recommended for either a stay-cation, or if you are in need of a place to crash if you're in town for business or for special occasions! Don't say I didn't warn ya'll!

This was our first time staying here but certainly won't be our last. We agreed that from now on this will be our first choice when we visit the Bay Area. Well located, very clean and well designed room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff -- it just ticked all our boxes!
